SPOILER: What do we know about the BO Boss?

So I know I am bringing this topic way out of the past, but after watching movie 13, it affirms my original suspicions that Superintendent Matsumoto is the Boss of the B.O. Just hear me out.
- It doesnt make sense that Vermouth was in the cabin with him. If you remember correctly, you could clearly see her shadow holding a gun inside the cabin while the Detective Boys. Why would she be "keeping guard".
-Usually if something were to go wrong for example, an operatives cover being blown, she would call the boss not Gin, her and Gin dont exactly have the best relationship. The reason she called him was because Matsumoto clearlyy already know.
-Irish was used as a tool from the beginning, Matsumoto/Gin never had any intention of letting him live.
-Matsumoto was never interrogated after his abduction, I thought it was really strange that the Superintendent didn't have one single line in the entire movie. This does not prove anything but I just thought it was strange. I mean who better than Super Mats. to be the head of the B.O. it explains why they have never been investigated by the police. Over time they must have left some trace of their existence, and who better to squash the investigation than the "Superintendent" of the Japanese Police dept.  but back to the evidence....

- Have you guys noticed that he is getting alot more face time in camera as of recent, even had his own story arc. As the series comes closer to its end, the "Boss" whoever he may be, has to develop some sort of report or character, and I don't think this is any coincidence.

- In conclusion, I think the main evidence from the 13th movie is that vermouth was "guarding" him in the cabin without a mask, we know that he was conscious because of all of the food he ate. He, without a doubt, saw Chris Vineyards  face and made no mention to anyone about his captors. If you watch all the episodes with the BO and keep the idea the Super Mats. is the Boss, it makes sense.

-The only piece of evidence that could contradict this is the beetles. Why would make the beetles with a clue to help him? Well if you noticed at the end, he was tied up, so he wouldnt be able to put the stickers on the beetles anyway. I think that he was ties up after Vermouth realized that they had been discovered and that he put the stickers on the beetles so that someone would eventually find him. Think about it, If noone ever found him, the plan would not work.

I know that there are going to be ppl who will definately not agree with me on this one, but please give me feedback and let me know what you think. WORD, Go Terps!

Movies aren't canon and shouldn't be taken into acount for the fact that they are not part of the story and the only true story is whatever happens in the manga.

They have referenced the the movies in the show and they have referenced the show in the movies, in the beginning of mov 13 they reference ep. 345, 346 etc. I dunno. Lets say what you say is true, you still digress from the point i was trying to make. I am not saying I am right by any means but that is just semantics.

I didn't say you are wrong about your theory, just that taking evidance from the movies isn't proving anything. While it is true that the movies were referenced in the anime, I don't recall any time they were referenced in the manga, and the manga is what matters. It's like trying to prove that Kaito Kid knows Conan's identity. While it is true regarding the movies, there is no evidance in the manga that it's true.

Touche Kor. I did not realize you were talking about the manga. While I may be able to recite the episode number of any given event that has happened in the show, the manga is not my forte, so I concede. What hints or otherwise has the manga shown that the anime has not? Have there been any "crucial" clues that a "non-mangar" like myself would not know? I feel lost now, but.... I stand by my original conclusion of Superintendent Matsumoto.

Well, in my FanFic James Black from FBI is the BO-Boss.

It´s an easy suggestion:

1. Ai had an strange feeling when she first and only meets James. She finds him "suspect".

2. James comes from Professor James Moriarty, the archenemy of Holmes. Black stands for the Black Organisation, the favorite colour of the members.

3. He´s old enough to know about he project.

4. He would be an evil mastermind, cause he was always at the other side of the game and could use them as he wanted.

5. He´s intelligent and a leader.

6. It would be just AWESOME when he really is it, cause neither Conan nor Ai nor the FBI agents did suspects him.^^

Thats all. 

I also think that he is the only one who fits the "age", because the boss has to be MINIMUM 70 years old..
But the other thing is: Why would ai be SHOCKED if James was the boss?

Möglicherweise kann sie sich noch sehr stumpf dran erinnern, weswegen ihr der Typ auch suspekt war. Alles natürlich nur Vermutungssache, aber es wäre möglich.
