The Opening song for Magic Kaito 1412 was announced on Wednesday to be 'Kimi no Matsu Sekai' (The World where You are Waiting), the first single of LAGOON, a five girl group debuting this Autumn.

The members of LAGOON were put together by audition, having never met each other beforehand. Their identities are shrouded in mystery and all that is known about them is that they are 'girls who want to make music', and are a cafe worker, a mother, a student, a paramedic, and an actress 'M' respectively.

Since it'll be running for no more than 25 episodes, do you guys think they'll keep the fillers to a bare minimum?

Seasonal anime tend to have that fast pacing going on usually so I'd expect it to have filler. Otherwise they can always stretch out the chapters I guess, MK has some 30 page chapters after all and it's not like the usual 16 page chapters lack content either (if they're willing to adapt all panels, Tokyo Ghoul for example just skimmed through massive chunk of chapters and skipped everything).

the new material for Kid in the last anime was the most interesting thing that's been done with the character in a while so that might not be a bad thing

I hope they animate all chapters.. But manga is ongoing... That's a problem.

Detective Conan is ongoing too, Aqua. The real problem is the number of chapters. Seeing as it is under 30 chapters, they will probably catch up quickly to where the manga is right now, even with the three or so new chapters coming in Oct.

Oh, I remember hearing about this. I bet it's going to be great.

But there's only one problem. I'm only on episode 7 on the 2011 series. And then I heard about the new series about a week ago and I was like "Well, I guess there's no point in watching like 1 episode per day anymore. Might as well finish it to catch up so I can watch the new series."

Well....they should be a lot more than just cameos if the series is doing the whole Kid-Conan cases from Kid's POV angle. :D;;
