But since it's going to be a movie, it will be pointless. It might be interesting, but still pointless.

That's why just having some kind of case in movies is better IMO than a stupid BO story which we all know is pointless and only made to attract the audience.

Actually, i was thinking about both manga and movie. The recent movies have been followed the same formula so i want something new. If Gosho already revealed the BO's past and then the movie base on it, it might interesting cause a lot of peoples want to see the BO members. After all. movie is all about fan service, the cases itself never been good to me.

Exactly! It has nothing to do with the actual story. It is like it never really happened so why care about it?

she's still a cool character,but in the past she was more...special and unique in DC world...

I believe that as well. She was much more mysterious and composed. It has been hinted that Ai knows more about the BO then she is willing to tell Conan, but for some reason that has never been brought up again. I liked seeing her adjust to normal life, but I feel it happened way to fast. She doesn't seem afraid of the BO that much anymore either. Some people say it is character development, but I don't think that's the case.

Well, if it was like she was around the late 300's it wouldn't be a problem, the problem is usually that (with no development shown) she's now almost completely different from the last version.

I don't see how she's really different from the Ai of the late 300s-early 400s.
