Nice amvs.^^
Did see them already though.
What i want to say to the topic:
I also like AixConan cause i can´t really believe that DC will end all fairytell-like with the bad guys as losers and a all-is-good-and-forgiven-kiss between Ran and Shinichi. Sure it would be an nice ending, but look how often Gosho uses the tragics between lovers, friends or family-members to show their reasons for murder.
With all the "womens can be demons when they are betrayed" or "no love will last forever" or "you can even hate your best friend when he gives you a reason for" is kinda hard to imagine, that Gosho will not give Ran and/or Shinichi a overthought about their relationship.
I would dislike it alot when Shinichi comes all "Ran, i love you." and she then "Really? I love you, too!" cause when we look at Vol. 1 we see that Shinichi would probably never have the courage to tell Ran his feelings. He daydreams about her telling him that she loves him and he could be the cool guy ala "I know and i love you, too.".
He only get this determination after he lerned about her most buried secret, even her best friend or her parents didn´t know about it.
If he would confess her before he tells her everything about Conan, Ai, the Bo and the FBI; it would be a total let-down. Well that only counts for me maybe, but i was glad that he wasn´t able to confess to her at the restaurant, when she would have lerned the whole truth afterwards the confession, it would be sure horrible for her.
She already had thoughts about him beeing a liar or untrustworthy, what should she think after she gladly reponds to his confession and later she found out, that he already know about her feelings the whole time he "was away cause for a case".
I would like to see something that could clear such a thing out, but since 699 chapters i haven´t see one.
For Ai and Conan:
First, they don´t trust each other completly. That´s a given.
But secondly, cause they aren´t blue-eyed to each-other, they can help themselves.
Both know when they can tell the other one something important, both have their reasons to hide something from her/his fellow in misery.
When we look back at all the Volumes, we have a great improvement in the trust between them, both can show the other one their "true face" without any masks. Still, they will wear them at most at the time, so they only know it cause the have seen it for a very few times.
But also between them, it would be good to see some difficultly again. Like Ai said: "If you´re not carefully enough, even a beautiful rose could hurt you. No one knows about the truth hidden in the inside from humans."
Oh, well maybe we will see some chara/relationship developement in this arc, maybe not. But i sure hope, that Gosho don´t makes the ending totally lovey-dovey (Ran should at least slap Shinichi or kick his ass for not telling her everything since the beginning XD), i find it wouldn´t fit into the DC-mode.^^
