Hey everyone , I need you to come out of hiding for a minute. I'm slowly returning back into DC mode and while refreshing the key points of the series in my head out of memory, something stood out. Haibara, APTX4869 antidote, and an incentive.

I've been searching my memory banks for a reason Shiho would give Shinichi the completed antidote as things stand now(last case I read was Red Wall) and I have come to the conclusion that she has no reason to give him the completed antidote. From my point of view, giving Shinichi his original body back will not accomplish anything in relation to the Black Organization as there is nothing he can do in his original body that he can't do as Conan. Yes, Shinichi has more credibility but such a thing is trivial in this situation because you are dealing with an organization that can vanish off the map if needed.

So there are no true advantages of Shinichi returning to his normal body at the moment(unless I forgot something really important) but the major disadvantage that he might get himself killed thinking he's superman.
In that scenario, why would Shiho give him the antidote?
Who's to say she hasn't already completed it and it has been sitting in her private office all this time?

Perhaps she's working on something else down there, which explains her need to retrieve the bloody disk and her lack of testing of the "proto type" antidote.(If this does turn out to be the case, there's no way he could hold her at fault as he would do the exact same thing if the situation was reversed, he would never help put someone in danger intentionally).

Anyone see it differently?

Hmm, no I don't see any particular reason for Shiho/Ai to give Conan the antidote currently. There are particular advantages that he can gain by being Conan and Shinichi, but they are, as you stated, trivial imo. He can take down the BO either as Conan or Shinichi. The advantage of being Shinichi looks like it would only be regaining his physique for certain situations and, like you also stated, his credibility. Conan on the other hand, would give him a slight surprise on the BO, as he has stated before, no one expects a kid to do the things he does. Actually as Shinichi, sorry if this sounds contradictory, he may have a slight lower chance at beating the BO, as most of them, with the exception of Vermouth (as far as we know), think of him as dead, and if they realize that he's not, there might be more effort put into silencing him, increasing the amount of danger he'd find himself in.

And as for getting himself killed because he thinks he's Superman, he's still like that as Conan, at times

So as far as him receiving the antidote, the only reasons why he'd need it is to return to his old life and tie up the plot point with Ran [as well as ending the series]. So as much as I'd love to see Conan take the completed antidote and return to being normal, I don't see why Shiho/Ai would need to give him the antidote to take down the BO.

Haibara giving the permanant antidote to conan is useless...and I doubt he would use it if Haibara decided to give him the  antidote...
the appearance of Conan is the best deguise he could find to escape to the BO...He knows that showing himself as Shinichi would put people he knows in danger...and as Randompi said,being Shinichi doesn't have many advantages,he can do almost what he want as conan...
even if it's for Ran,using a temporary antitote is enouth,and he still call her all the time,so he doesn't need to be Shinichi for now...
as long as BO isn't destroyed,he has to stay as Conan...
of course I would like to see him as Shinichi,and Haibara as Shiho,together in a case,just once in the manga!!!

I don't think "liking Shiho" is related to "I want Haibara to remain like this in the end".
Can Shinichi use Agasa's gadget that he used while being Conan? because, if he doesn't have them, then remaining as Conan is the best option.
