hmm,i kinda disagree with you,i personally prefer to see Ai"alone" than paired with Mitsuhiko...especially if he becomes the only option...i think Haibara is a character who doesn't need to be paired with someone in the end to be more interesting...of course she deserve hapiness and love,but that's not a reason to pair Haibara with a child just because it's the only choice,as if she was desperate...
I know,Mitsuhiko will grow up and he'll become smart and kind...but for now he's just a child,haibara isn't romantically interested in him now... and i doubt Gosho will write a story about them 10 years later...so all that we can do is imagining them later
i don't see many interesting interactions between them to start to like this couple,that's why i can't imagine them together,even in the futur...
btw,i'm more an Ai fan than a coai fan,that's why i don't want her to be paired with someone just to be like the other girls...
and i don't know many people who'd rather see haibara dead than paired with Mitsu...

Indeed, I didn't say she had to be paired with someone to be more interesting or like the other girls (I don't want her to be like the others BTW, one of the reasons why she's my favorite character ever is that she's different/awesome/realistic/smart/awesome (uh I already said awesome).. I just said she most likely will be happy/happier if paired with someone who loves and supports her. Of course I think someone else than Mitsuhiko should fulfill that role, but let's face it, Conan can't, sadly. Because he isn't madly in love with her. She can't be happy with him because he's, surely, in love with Ran. Yes, he does care about Ai, and a lot, but not to the point of forgetting about Ran, and I think we all know that. I'm just being realistic here. If I were Aoyama's assistant (I can dream, ne? ), I would seriously, kindly (you bet), ask him to make Conan's feelings more.. hmm.. flexible. ^^
As for the AixMitsu interaction.. he's just a child, they can't have witty conversations.. yet. Maybe when they grow up together, things will be much more interesting. But then I say it again, I'm not supporting MitsuxAi nor am I wishing for it to happen, I just think Ai deserves a gentleman who really loves her and ONLY her. She's too awesome to be a second choice.

Just you know i was like Girl19 never a Ranichi-fan and not really interested in the relationships of the DC-charas, though that changed of cource when Ai/Shiho/Sherry was introduced.

About the MitxAi thingie - Gosho said that the story will be resolved in one year in-manga-time, no timeskip intended. Therefor probably no sudden changes in Ai and Conans behaviour to hook up with two little 7 years old kids.

Seriously, everyone should have turned into an AiCon fan after the "Ai crying in front of Conan" scene and a GinxSherry fan after the Haido City Hotel case.
And WHY won't there be a 10 years jump, Aoyama-sensei, why? I wanted to see how things will change later, in a logical way (because OVA 10 was crazy, and doesn't count).

I like Mitsuhiko.  He's a nice boy, but that's what he is--a little boy.  If AixMitsuhiko happens, I doubt it'd be when he's still a kid... And the possibilities are infinite, especially when it's so far into the future.  But if Ai comes to love him then, I'll support her.  I'd rather she and conan end up together, but that doesn't mean I won't accept others.  (Well, maybe not Gin.  Unless it's done well.)  I'll accept it, but I don't have to like it.  Hope that makes senses...

Same here, I would accept it even though it's not my "best" ending for her. And no, she won't end up with Gin. Gin will end up dead or in jail, so even if there was something between them in the past, they have no future. T_T

Like other people said Conan/Shinichi is too busy being faithful to Ran. And as much as I would like it if he were to give up on her at some point (and choses teenage Ayumi at that point of course) I don't think he will. It is just not him.

yeah,i understand what you mean...maybe if gosho start a new serie with the DB 10 years later,showing their interactions and relationship,then i could change my mind about Mitsu and Ai,but for now it's hard to build a good relationship between them since haibara doesn't like him romantically(hopefully Ai isn't a pedophile XD) and now she only uses Mitsuhiko when she needs him because she knows he loves her

I'm guessing the word you meant is hypocritical, and if that's the case, then how so? The only thing I did was assuming what Schillok would say, and I didn't present my opinion (and you can find my opinion in this thread).
And excuse me for asking, but how are you the one to talk about hypocrisy, if you called Schillok delusional for "believing" in AyuCon ending, while you claim to "ultimately believe" in AiCon ending?

Yeah, I see what you mean but I don't think ending up with grown-up Mitsuhiko will make her look desperate or a pedophile. I think Ai is one of the rare DC girls who will never look desperate in love. She even seems uninterested in love issues by hiding her feelings well, so.. But to be honest, I don't think she, herself, will ever consider ending up with Mitsu, because she would consider him as a child even when he grows up. Not to forget that she kinda pushed him away when she noticed that he had feelings for her..
