As most of the AiCon have said, they prefer Ai to be alone rather than with Mitsuhiko..

That's just selfish/unfair. I'm not really a fan of MitsuAi myself, but if he becomes the only option, why not? She deserves happiness too, and Mitsu is a good boy and I'm sure he will grow really smart and kind. Those who say they'd rather see her alone/dead than with him aren't Ai fans, just AiCon fans, sadly.

hmm,i kinda disagree with you,i personally prefer to see Ai"alone" than paired with Mitsuhiko...especially if he becomes the only option...i think Haibara is a character who doesn't need to be paired with someone in the end to be more interesting...of course she deserve hapiness and love,but that's not a reason to pair Haibara with a child just because it's the only choice,as if she was desperate...
I know,Mitsuhiko will grow up and he'll become smart and kind...but for now he's just a child,haibara isn't romantically interested in him now... and i doubt Gosho will write a story about them 10 years later...so all that we can do is imagining them later
i don't see many interesting interactions between them to start to like this couple,that's why i can't imagine them together,even in the futur...
btw,i'm more an Ai fan than a coai fan,that's why i don't want her to be paired with someone just to be like the other girls...
and i don't know many people who'd rather see haibara dead than paired with Mitsu...

I like Mitsuhiko. Since it is decided already that Ayumi will get Conan why shouldn't he and Haibara become a pair as well?
He is nice, reasonable, responsible and respectful and would make a good match with Haibara. Sure, Haibara is not interested in any boys (or girls  ) at the moment but this could change in the (theoretical) future when both are in their teenager years (again, for Haibara).
To me it seems it is mostly the general dislike towards the Detective Boys of some people that makes the reject that pairing immediately without considering that it could be good for both of them.

Just you know i was like Girl19 never a Ranichi-fan and not really interested in the relationships of the DC-charas, though that changed of cource when Ai/Shiho/Sherry was introduced.

About the MitxAi thingie - Gosho said that the story will be resolved in one year in-manga-time, no timeskip intended. Therefor probably no sudden changes in Ai and Conans behaviour to hook up with two little 7 years old kids.

you said it yourself,it can be a good idea in the futur but it's only theoretical(since we probably won't see them 10 years later)and for now it's hard to imagine Haibara having feelings for Mitsu,and having interactions with him,
i personally don't like when there isn't a good relationship witch is built between the two characters in a couple...
it's just a cute idea for me,nothing more

Well what do you want us to talk about over Conan and Ai? We have over 220 pages and some extras now about their relationship, also in that time we discussed alot over only Conan/Shinichi, Ranichi, even Conan and Ayumi or Mitsuhiko and Ai.

anyway,i was a shinran fan before and i turned into coai fan mostly because i found their inteartion more interesting than shinran...
i think many coai fan were shinran fans  before ai came(there wasn't a lot of choice),but i don't know many coai fan who became shinran fan(well except Ao-kun,but he's an onion,that doesn't count )...when you become an aicon fan it's impossible hard to give up on them

I agreed with what you said (the part about Ao-kun... I'm not so sure because I don't know him xD).  Back then, we weren't given many choices, and like I said, I just accepted ShinxRan without thinking much about it.  It was a sweet relationship, something my 8-years-old mind could related to at the time.  The whole childhoods-turned-boyfriend/girlfriend was like the dream for a girl at that age.   (Where I came from, anyways) Just like what Girl19 said:

Thanks Chekhov for explaining.  Now I understand why there's some GinxAi fanfics around.  I never noticed that, shame on me.  But I have to agree, for some reasons, it's too creepy.  Maybe that's why I never considered it. 

I like Mitsuhiko.  He's a nice boy, but that's what he is--a little boy.  If AixMitsuhiko happens, I doubt it'd be when he's still a kid... And the possibilities are infinite, especially when it's so far into the future.  But if Ai comes to love him then, I'll support her.  I'd rather she and conan end up together, but that doesn't mean I won't accept others.  (Well, maybe not Gin.  Unless it's done well.)  I'll accept it, but I don't have to like it.  Hope that makes senses...
