i think the same... of course he cares for Ran and he doesn't want to see her cry because of him...but does that mean he can't be happy with another girl?he never said that!people act as if they're already married and can't have feelings for an other person... that's why i think shinran is static and boring...

Exactly I can't see him forgetting anyone. I feel the only reason he recognizes Ran feelings (in a respectful way) is because she actually confessed them. But I feel if Ai confessed...who knows how he would take it.

I would probably be a typical comedy/serious scene:
Ai confesses(she just throws it in the current conversation)--->Conan cracks a joke because he believes she is trying to trick him(since she just threw it in like a "oh by the way" ------> Ai doesn't laugh------> Conan realizes she was serious, recalls his mother's words and begins to panic while turning red but can't think of an answer(which is a good thing) -------> Ai uses her cold glare, waiting for his explanation/response -----> DBs show up...they always do , a case follows ----> Conan thinks he is off the hook and can just stall until he can be sure of what he feels for her ----> Ai walks past him while saying men are so indecisive but she doesn't mind waiting for his answer but if he takes too long she'll move on as she isn't as "strong" as a certain dolphin ------->Conan starts to panic again and runs behind her, asking what she meant by "dolphin" -------> Gosho buries this plot point until the end of the series, along with the others.

that's the kind of scene Gosho would make if Haibara really confessed to conan^^i can imagine it...
but i think she's not gonna confess until the end of the manga (if she still have feelings for him...)

But it´s true, i can so see that when Shinichi is about to kiss Ran, the DBs would stand there, blushing and starring at them what will cause them to break up the kiss and starts to be akward and embarressed.^^
And Ai-chan would look like always, bored (-> *too cool for the world* -face XD).

I didn't believe it at first when my mother told me after she had watched Movie 4 without me. But I actually started believing in this couple as I watched ep 129.
So, when my friends watched desperate revival, they started believing in CoAi when they saw Ai blushing. One of the strongest hints would also be when Ai dreamt of Conan, the "is there something on my face" ep and the one in the ep when Conan saves her from the bus. There actually more hints but there are just way too many for me to remember. (And ppl would still deny the one-sided love story between them)
