Plus, it's been 4 years since there was a new DC movie writer—let's see what this new blood can do. At the very least, since he went and had a live Q&A with fans over social media, this'll hopefully be a formative learning experience for him, at the very least, once the movie's out and the constructive feedback comes in.

The first trailer doesn't really showcase much but one thing I noticed is that this has potential to be a really weird movie if it's going to have a normal Heiji case going on (the main setting seems to be the mansion?) and also somehow be an explosive action movie.
I wonder if we'll learn more of Momiji first time in the full trailer or will there be a case with her before that...

I wouldn't mind a more "detective-romance" approach than action movie style ( everything will still blow up in the movie anyways). I'm interested in it very much. And nice graphics again. *___*

That scene with the building burning up and stuff getting flown around looks like they dropped an atomic bomb on the mansion I have no idea how that works, like there's a tornado or something also with things flying around....
She actually appears at the end of the trailer I didn't even notice...

Bombs actually make things fly around... not just atomic bombs even the thing in the trailer would make things fly around and burn so it does work and the trailer looks good...

the teaser shows promise...I'll wait for the trailer then I'll see if It'll give me some interest to watch xD

From this, it looks like there will be some Ran and Shinichi stuff going on. Bombs, detective romance, and Detective Boys? I hope they make it a good movie! It sounds promising.

Ok so we get to see Momiji and the mansion which ends up burning in this, maybe that's the setting that Momiji's family lives in and they have to solve a case there? If that's the case then yeah hmm. . .

Well before thinking any more about that maybe we'll get a longer Heiji case soon in the manga.
