But anyway, yeah the Conan cameos were distracting, especially from ep 7 (I think it was?) whenever creepy Conan came in. So I hope Conan isn't in this at all (unless they redo Kaito vs Shinichi, which I now may have mixed feelings about (also yes, I'm saying Shinichi instead and counting him as one person ))
Really wish you included a link. I have encountered somebody misquote something on a different forum and I had to spend too much time looking up the original content and correct them.
I think that the only reason that the Conan cameos were put in to begin with was because the episodes aired as DC episodes. Not a good reason at all to put in a character that should not be there. It would be like if Kaito Kuroba showed up at the scene of all of Jimmy's cases, instead of only a few that do not involve KID directly, such as the Bell Tree Express arc.

Thanks for supplying the link. Looks like Hakuba does have a few more appearances than I thought, with only the Kudo vs. Kaito Kuroba showdown as Hakuba being listed as a flashback appearance.
Hard to be a completely new work if Conan will appear and they have panels to adapt unlike from game series or such... Atleast the openings and endings may give some fresh breath to the series when it's done by another studio but let's see about that later on I guess.
I thought this was discussed already. Anyway, in the specials that aired as part of DC, Conan appeared in practically every episode, which seemed rather distracting, since the focus was supposed to be Kaito Kuroba and the rest of the MK cast, not any DC characters, because there is only one MK chapter where the DC cast appears, whereas there are more chapters of DC where a character from MK appears.
Wait, the 4th? at 5:30? ...It doesn't match up. Doesn't Kindaichi air at that time? and it's only at ep 20, so the last episode, ep26, should be airing then...shouldn't it?

I couldn't find anyplace official that states it'll be 26 episodes. Maybe it's only 25 and AnimeNewsNetwork's entry for the show is incorrect? It definitely says MK will be airing during that timeslot on October 4 in the Shonen Sunday page.
