What do you think are the three remaining episodes? We saw the Golden Eye and the Dark Knight in the Ending, then Midnight Crow are at least 2 episodes. If 18 and 19 are Eye and Knight, and Crow is the big finale with 23 & 24, we still have 20,21 and 22.
I guess the Akako-requestservice-episode and probably the Teleportation-Case.

I'll be honest here. I actually liked A-1's adaptation of Crystal Mother.

Yeah, gotta agree. I liked the resolution with Snake. It was more believable and funny. The one that had Spider floating off of the train, WTF was that about? They established that Spider uses wires, and there was no place for his wires that wouldn't have been knocked off by signs or low-hanging branches or tunnels. Also, they usually had Snake hitting the wall of the tunnel, and then you never hear from him again, making me assume that he died. If he's dead, then there's no reason for Kaito to continue being Kaitou KID. This version solved a lot of the logical inconsistencies that other versions had.

In the manga Snake hit the tunnel wall, and then literally shows up at the beginning of the next chapter titled "Read Tear", although the twelve Kaitou specials reordered the episodes and had "Red Tear" air before "Crystal Mother".

According to the episode guide in another thread, this series has "Green Dream" coming up as episode 17, in which the manga version has Snake appear for like 2 whole panels on the second to last page of the chapter.

I'm a bit behind but seriously, I'm so used to Conan's constant thoughts, so these episodes are kinda awkward when so much of it turns into Conan awkwardly standing there silent for most of it.

Episode 19 bored me to tears.

The specials version of Golden Eye had far better pacing. There was no reason for it to take up two episodes in 1412, and it shows in the writing; they had to pad it with anime-only conversations and flashbacks.

Hopefully Dark Knight will be handled better.

I actually didn't mind episode 19. Had better pacing than episode 18, at least. I would have of course preferred it if this was only one episode, and skipping Akako's Delivery Service was the biggest screwup of the anime so far, but oh well...

I did get a giggle from the ending monologue this episode:
"Whether I achieve my objective or not, as long as people desire it, the show will go on." - hinting at a second season? XD

It has better ratings than Kindaichi and Space Brothers, the two last shows wich aired before Conan. I would be surprised if they weren't discussing a second season currently. :p

But what would a season 2 be like?
They have done almost all of the Kaito Plot episodes they can do.
It would literally just be down to the goofy episodes and the appearances in Conan
I mean they have plenty of material but it wouldn't really help what they have so far...

Although, I am kind of curious how they would so something like the "Magic Lover's Case", I mean its not really a heist but a normal Conan case where Kaito happens to appear because its magic themed. I mean just imagine Kaito siting there in his fat suit freaking out about what to do after seeing a dead body... and all of the silent stares around the room from Conan because we wouldn't be allowed to hear his inner thoughts on the evidence anymore.

Lmao theres no way they can adapt the next heist as well as the last did, and based on the preview, I'm not going to be holding my breath for it either.
