Well, I do not know if it fits to the topic, but I have a question.

I have re-watched episodes 222-224. It was about the mermaid island. During the festivals there is a kind of lottery, in which three holy arrows will be given. There are record books who has received which number. In an older record book, there was someone with the name 'Miyano Shiho'.

Do you think it was Haibara or someone with the same name? And if it was Haibara, what was she doing in that island? I doubt that she could just go outside and take some days free from her work with the excuse 'There is an island festival I want go to. So give me a a couple of weeks off.'.

Well, this will probably be an important clue sometime, probably to connected to "cause we try to rise the dead against the stream of time".
So, I believe it was Haibara, and she was researching on whatever Vermouth was referring to.

Aren't you giving Gosho a little to much credit I mean there are a lot of things he doesn't explain. Like the disk Ai has! How long has it been and we still haven't seen or heard about it since

It's not far-off, assuming there's going to be a huge fight between Conan and the BO. After they're defeated, Conan will return to being Shinichi. Ai will stay as she is. Probably she'll go overseas, maybe with Prof. Agasa.

It's not far-off, assuming there's going to be a huge fight between Conan and the BO. After they're defeated, Conan will return to being Shinichi. Ai will stay as she is. Probably she'll go overseas, maybe with Prof. Agasa.

But she doesn't like they way she is. There wouldn't be any reason she can't just stay, get a job, maybe go back to highschool and start anew from there? Shinichi and Shiho in highschool spinoff ftw

Well, she has become quite good friends with Ayumi. This might be a good reason why she wants to remain like she is. Furthermore, because she was forced to grow up like the organization instructed her. This is the perfect opportunity for her to experience an ordinary school life.
To be honest, I do not see the reason why she wants to miss that chance.

I see. You have closed your mind to all possible conclusions except those that will end as them being a couple. A die-hard AiCon, indeed.

I said, towards the end. After they defeat the BO she can freely expose herself to society and finally arrange her papers.

But I'm not saying that's the only possible conclusion for her. She might die (though I hope not), or stay.
