Well, in my opinion I think that it would be great and disappointing 'cuz it would ruin most of the serie, I mean, when Shinichi/Conan decided no to tell the truth to Ran it was a goal that he must keep, but if he can't make it who knows what will happen, maybe Ran would kick him, or feel sad... or both, and then what will happend with Conan? I really doubt that she will let him live with her after that and even if that happens Kogoro will note his daugthers attitude agains Conan and would suspect about it too.
But most of it, Ran trust on Conan as much as Shinichi so it would be really hard to don't trust in "the littlw angel's face". And also Conan is a Highschool Detective, he is very smart and he wouldn't let her discover the truth so easily, and less when he still is looking for the B.O.

I understood it and I agree.
If Conan/Shinichi does, (IF) tell Ran about him (Conan) being Shinichi, he should do it AFTER he returns to being Shinichi.
Because if he does it now, it would ruin Ran's trust in Conan.
Because Ran tells Conan about how much she loves/misses and cares about Shinichi.

I agree with you guys. Telling the truth after turning back to Shinichi really is more rational than saying it as Conan.. but how come I get the feeling that Ran will find out by herself and not by Conan/Shinichi telling her the truth.
It wasn't my intention to hurt or anything, is just that sometimes I don't express myself clearly.

Yeah, the whole Red Black arc with Conan's figure print confuses me, would it be recognized as Shinichi's fingerprint? Oh well. That aside, I believe Ran has suspicion about it, and maybe knows subconsciously, but probably won't act on it for a while. As for when Shinichi tells her about him being Conan, I wouldn't mind telling her after or before the permanent change back, as long as what follows makes sense; though I'd rather not have Shinichi not tell her about it period, like others have said, Conan has had some impact on her life so he should at least tell her in the end. And also, I get the reason why he didn't tell anyone at the start of the series about his identity, but, overtime, wouldn't it "cancel" out anyways? Given a new identity, he doesn't have any associates to begin with, but if he is around the same people either way, and the BO targets Conan for some reason without knowing of his true identity, wouldn't they target the people Conan's affiliated with?
