Or you could just put "Conia is not a typo I'm not a Con+Ai" under your avatarconia wrote:I'm condemned to eternal suffer.Xcommando wrote:no conia isn't a typo for conai -he is a shinran all the way- I even thought it was conai when i first saw him.Beastly wrote:You CONAI fanconia wrote: YEIY! I've got a no-changing-avatar policy. So I won't change my avatar or the Conan Shuichi text.

I like it this way, so I won't change anything.
Isn't it ironic how we are talking about ConAi here and ShinRan in the Ai+Conan thread??![]()

You seem to be thinking marriage would follow soon after engagement. That's not what happened with Yusaku and Yukiko. We know from Desperate Revival that Yusaku proposed to Yukiko exactly 20 years before Shin'ichi's and Ran's date at the restaurant, and Yukiko was around 17 at that time. However, we know from Conan's Kidnapping that they didn't actually get married until Yukiko was 20. In Japan, a person has to be 20 before they can marry without permission from parents. Unless Kogoro has a major change of heart, he's not going to let Ran marry until she's 20. 2+ years is plenty of time to figure out whether they're making a mistake, and Shin'ichi can certainly capitalize on his fame professionally once he's out of high school. (However, I think if he matures he'd figure out he should become a team player and join the police so he can have some backup against mobsters like the Org., or settle with writing about mysteries and covertly giving tips to the police every once in a while. If he doesn't mature he'll get killed or get Ran killed anyway.)soratothamax wrote:you're absolutely right about that...but that's kind of sad to have to ask your mother to be your fiance to buy an engagement ring...and then neither has a job getting paid, so how can they have a successful marriage?conia wrote:Mmm... knowing Yukiko, she would buy the BEST engagement ring for her Shin-chan. If I recall correctly, I said being a Shinran was a major part in my decision for voting, but I didn't knew you were ShinRan NOR you were AiCon. I thought you were neutral to couples...Xcommando wrote:Their was once when you thought I was Con+AI too LOL.(member of the week 5 topic)conia wrote:It makes me hate you AiCon fans!soratothamax wrote: Oh man, poor Conia being condemned to AixCon fandom! lol

I need to rewatch good old Conan episodes, but I think you're right about not marrying till some years passed. And I agree Kogoro won't let Ran marry until she is 20Nyarl wrote: This is actually on topic here.
