Does Jodie-Sensei Knows Conan's true identity?

I totally agree with you Quiet Lurker! But I think Conan doesn't really care if she finds out cause he's not acting childish and kid-innocent like in front of Jodie-sensei ever since he and the FBI is teaming up against the BO. He even lends his phone which can be checked for fingerprints to identify him but he not only didn't hesitate but offered to give the phone. That's why i started wondering if she already knew...

Jodie knows that Ai is Sherry so there is no reason why her "logic" would deny that Conan is Shinichi.

But did she know that Ai/Sherry is Shiho Miyano? If she was certain of it, then she (and the whole FBI) should know Conan's identity as well because she would know the scientific concept from the girl.

I'd say it's at the tip of Jodie-sensei's tongue, since I believe she hasn't proved that Conan IS in fact Shinichi. Of course, like yume_no_meitantei said, sooner or later everyone will find out!

Of course Jodie knows the true identity of Ai/Sherry, in the beginning they (the FBI) was actually searching for the adult Sherry. Not to mentioned that Akai dated her sister and indirectly got her killed.

As I mentioned before, Jodie and the FBI probably know that Conan is shrunken by APTX 4869, but they do not necessarily know his adult persona. They were able to link Ai with Sherry because they were actually looking for her (she is a wanted criminal after all  ).

Shinichi did not have a working relation with the FBI before and is not exactly on the FBI's watchlist, so there is no reason for the FBI to easily link Conan with Shinichi since they know practically nothing about Shinichi. Only Jodie saw Shinichi's adult form.

I've always just figured that they know.  If they know both there is a shrinking drug and they know Conan, it's not too hard to put together.

Yeah, I think so too. I even think that Akai might know Conan's true identity already (more likely if he is Okiya*)

her logic will still deny it, just because she knew that sherry shrank doesn't mean that she would think that every other kid who acts like an adult (or teenager) had the same outcome.

Of course she would suspect it, but her common sense would think that Conan was just one of those young genius.

If you think that she is suspicious already and knows that Haibara is Sherry that shrunk, what is Haibara doing with Conan then? Wouldn't that destroy the common sense struggle of it?

that would just be a contributing fact to her suspicion, but her common sense can think of many more reasons to deny it.

Jodie-sensei knows how different this organization is, and how their exploits are. Theres Sherry getting shrunk and Vermouth not aging. With all this weird unexplanable things happening around due to the Organization's acts, why would as they describe "a simple but really smart kid" be going against the organization as big as that? Would a 7 year old kid, no matter how smart he is, go against them who kills with no mercy... She would definitely think that this kid is not only smart but is something else and that I think will be what she will have in mind and the most logical explanation to this mysterious kid Conan.

like i said, she suspects it but (as yume sed) it is suspicion without proof and so common logic kicks in and gives plenty more reasonable and logical explanations to defy that.

The only thing I can advise to Jodie is for her to look at Conan without his glasses, and compare it to the young Shinichi's picture. Appearance, intelligence, and fingerprints (if the test worked out fine) - it's enough proof for Jodie to assume Conan is Shinichi. She just have to ask like a psychologist and drive Conan into a corner, then he might spill off

And why would she want to do that? 

She most likely knows that Conan is shrunk by APTX 4896, which makes him a victim of the Black Organization. Why would she want to know more about him?

Like inspectors Satou and Takagi, Jodie is probably curious about Conan's true identity (all three have figured out that he is not truly a 7 year old). As I mentioned before, they don't let their curiosity get better of them and respect Conan's privacy enough not to try to find out. 

In this respect, they are better friends than Ran.
