XXD Can't be other than Eel Rice Org. . *rofl-rofl*
Anyways thanks Chekhov for making those points and you actually collected THE information.
The Boss seems to be very intelligent and careful, so his cover identity, if he showed up in DC must be good too. Like Conan's and Ai's.
Nanatsu no ko, according to Conan is a kinda sad song, one feels the loneliness in it. I listened to it too, it is kinda calm and sad I guess. This can refer to the Boss' feelings, which reaises the question of family or lover.
@Kirite: They need money for researches (like Haibara's), paying for programmers like Itakura, to blackmail people, to get cool gadgets and probably for some living expenses as well.
You see Pisco was in the car industry, he got to the top with the help of the BO. To put him in there money and social connections were needed. Bo has a very good social connection-line so to say, they are everywhere, I assume, a few other members are in high-classes too.
Lol, imagine Gin as a business man. Gin: Deal? Guy: Um.. I'm not sure. Gin: *looks fierce* Guy: My company is yours! Just go away!
Oi, oi guys, don't quote that much for no reason. ^^""
my current guess is that one of Haibara's parents are still alive
other than that, the only guess I like for the BO boss is either Sanada Kazumi (if only because the foreshadowing in that Heiji magician case was so freaking obvious) and Kyogoku Makoto

Please not Makoto-san!!!!!
The magician is pretty good though. Well, I think we know that the boss really like Chris/Sharon/Vermouth.
Cool, I never knew before the hints Aoyama gave.. This is something to work on.
Thanks to Chekhov for collecting awesome data ^^ However, the best part is: the boss is someone we know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I personally believe the James theory.
No amount of apologies will express how much I regret it.
What are the possibilities he/she is some historical real life figure from 60 years ago?
It could be Walt Disney; he was interested in living forever. Or perhaps, he was just wanting to turn the entire population into children... anyway, the original question stands.
I'm also wondering, since the boss' identity will shock Haibara, would it be the same for Conan? Maybe when the boss reveals his identity, Conan would be like "I knew it all along." There must be something we're overlooking. Maybe the boss just doesn't know that Shiho became Haibara. After all, Vermouth is the only living BO member who knows about Haibara's appearance.

that's why i think it's shiho's father ,since he's supposed to be dead!it would be a real shock for her! afterall, gosho said the boss appeared in"some form",so maybe he/she is not a person we meet but someone whom ai and conan were talking about!

Well, in my FanFic James Black from FBI is the BO-Boss.
It´s an easy suggestion:
1. Ai had an strange feeling when she first and only meets James. She finds him "suspect".
2. James comes from Professor James Moriarty, the archenemy of Holmes. Black stands for the Black Organisation, the favorite colour of the members.
3. He´s old enough to know about he project.
4. He would be an evil mastermind, cause he was always at the other side of the game and could use them as he wanted.
5. He´s intelligent and a leader.
6. It would be just AWESOME when he really is it, cause neither Conan nor Ai nor the FBI agents did suspects him.^^
Thats all.
7. James Black was raised in Chicago "The windy city where Capone stormed....".
And Capone was one of the greatest criminal leaders ever. ^^

Thanks, for my it´s the most awesome theory cause the "friend" would be the "enemy" and all trust him.
for the "seven children" song at least, I was sort of thinking originally that this may be less about the leader (even though it's his address) and more referring to maybe the high-ranking BO members or something
so, Gin, Vodka, Vermouth, and maybe Chianti, Korn, etc would be some of the "seven children" or "seven crows". Of course there's too many alcohol names to fit all of them as seven children/crows, but maybe it refers to some sort of heirarchy in the BO?

Yep, that's a classic plot.

Good point.. kkslider's theory is believable too. That fits into the age gap too.. but if it was like a royal family [where the next generation takes care of the org when the parents are deceased] the age gap could be anywhere.

But from what we see, Gin and Vermouth have the highest rank.. Vermouth higher. But yeah, that's possible..

The leader favors a song involving crows. Has there been anyone mentioned in the series who has a fondness for crows in heraldry and has crow as part of his surname? (Hint: Yes.)

I can't read kanji! But that might be a dead giveaway for the Japanese audience, don't you think?
