I don't know why they bother to hide their convos from Haibara anymore, anyway, since she already said she wasn't going to run away anymore. And since keeping stuff from her always seems to lead to her being reckless in the end.
1. I could see how that would tear at Conan, but the point is she's now out of the way.
2. Because it makes their conversation seem more important when Ai has to spy on them.

Ai+Conan imo is more like Watson+Holmes, the scientist/detective combo, so they will end up being best friends but the romantic feelings will be one-sided only(sorry Ai :-X).

Another person that's gunna say that Ai didn't fancy Conan? I honestly thought it was pretty obvious that she did - those feelings may have simmered since Ai's role is super minimal nowadays, but, there were a lot of cases where it seemed like she liked him.

Well, I'm an AiCon myself and I do believe about her liking him from the cases before. But recently, all of it disappeared because Gosho has completely ignored Ai. :V
I still support them though but I'll wait until another development occurs before I tell myself that Ai does like Conan.

That was my view of it too. It seems pretty obvious to me that she likes him, and equally obvious that he hasn't a clue because he's in love with Kaito Ransexual XD
