Even though it's not the same, it just has a "Revive the Wayne Parents" plot twist. Just doing something to established dead characters for so long seems cheap as a twist.

It's from Full Score of Fear actually.... but in the movie before that scene, she didn't mention that her mother was British (it was mentioned during the series).

What I meant was before that particular scene, no one mentioned that Shiho's mom was British so Shinichi couldn't have known (in the movie) unless it was already established in the series.

Conan have always felt there's something unusual in Ai's feature, then Hakase told him that Ai's mother is a foreigner, then Conan said "Oh, so that's why..."
But idk if Hakase mentioned about British.
During that same conversation, Agasa mentioned that Shiho's father met Elena during his research trip to England if I remember correctly. Since then, the talk about Elena being British was never talked about again... until that scene in Full Score of Fear where Shiho said it herself.
