Rating the Detective Conan Movies (Results are in!)

Here are some extra notes and curiosities from the voting results. I'll add more later today.

[GENERAL VOTING]
-In total, 77 entries were taken into account.
-Everyone rated Movies 1-5.
-9 participants hadn't seen Movie 17.
-5 participants hadn't seen Movie 16.
-4 participants hadn't seen Movies 10 and 11.
-3 participants hadn't seen Movies 7, 9, 12, 13, and 15.
-2 participants hadn't seen Movies 8 and 14.
-1 participant hadn't seen Movie 6.

[RESULT NOTES]
-Movie 1 was the only movie to not receive at least one 1-star vote.
-Movie 5, the top rated movie, received 34 5-star votes out of 77 respondents.
-Movie 11, the lowest rated movie, received only one 5-star vote.
-All movies received at least ten 5-star votes apart from Movie 1 (6), Movie 9 (7), Movie 11 (1), and Movie 17 (6).
-Only two movies received over 30 5-star votes, those being Movie 5 (34) and Movie 4 (30), which finished in the top two spots overall.
-Movie 11 received the most 1-star votes by far, finishing with 21 such votes out of 77 respondents.

Ha the Third movie got third.
Anyway I like that 3-5 all made the top 3 I still think 17's too high, but eh. I know I shouldn't complain because I basically know why most of these ranked the way they did

I still can't believe how movie 12 was ranked to low...

Good top 3, although I would have preferred for 4 to get first place. I'm a bit disappointed to see movie 2 behind movie 6 and movie 13 which are both overrated imo. The rest is mostly ok with only 1 and 12 being too low and 8 being perhaps slightly too high. The flop 3 is perfect.

So my personal lowest-rated movies - Movies 3 & 6 - made the top 5. Haha )

And no one else beside me rated Movie 11 5-star!
Personally, in general, I have enjoyed each movie immensely which is why the majority of the movies were 5-star for me and the lowest one was a 3.5.

On Movie 11, while most of the fans consider it low in quality relative to the others, it's actually among the ones that I consider a treat on an emotional level. I still remember how I was perplexed thinking about the collective criticism of 11 because here I was watching it again trying to understand those very complaints and getting goose bumps! I appreciated how the Sonoko-Ran friendship got to shine. I have very close relationships with my cousin sisters and so I really connected with the story of sisterhood portrayed there. 11 was also special because of the ending theme - one of the most memorable for me!

I had fun voting for both this and the opening songs. Let's do more!
