P.S. Anyone know where to watch movies 4 and 5? I recently noticed how some fans like these two the best.. and I wanted to re-watch since I haven't seen them in some time. The only thing I will say is, after watching ALL of them.. I'm not sure how anyone can dislike movie 7.. and I'd like someone to explain..
P.P.S. .. About the plot description.. doesn't it seem oddly familiar? Episodes 385-387 entitled "Dissonance of the Stradavarius Violin".. Doesn't it seem like they re-use certain plot OUTLINES (i.e. there being a hyping building in the ocean) on the movies?

Yes, but stradivarius is a brand of violin, rather than a legendary violin (like Excalibur is to swords). Perfect pitch isn't anything new, especially as far as singers go. If you're going to perform opera and things of such high class, you need perfect pitch or damned close to it.

Also, the production team probably used the perfect pitch and the Stradivarius just to show how elite the performers are (i'm guessing, asit was the case in Dissonance of the Stradivarius). Likewise, in Moonlight Sonata, they use something musical that an audience unfamiliar with music has heard of. It'll lose the effect if it's a case solving the 10 murders based on Palestrina's "Missa Ecce sacerdos magnus".
