Ooh, we can add the insert songs too?  That's good, since I like a lot of those.

"Sobani Iru Kara" by The High-Lows had a sentimental touch to it and was one of those nice easy listening tunes.  But I mostly like cover songs Iori did in the tune to some of the BGM tracks (On a little song album I got some time ago): "Omoide Tachi" (Omoide), "Hitomi o Tojireba" (Ran's theme), and "Iihito ni Aetane" (Shinichi's theme).  Iori's vocalized versions of the BGM tracks sound adorable and have a softer tone than most songs in the series.  I also liked how a couple of the tracks had Conan speaking in random parts; that was pretty cute.

For openings and endings, I really like "Shoudou" by B'z, "Koi wa THRILL, SHOCK, SUSPENSE" by Rina Aiuchi, "STEP BY STEP" by Ziggy, "Negai Hitotsu Dake" by Miho Komatsu, and "Secret of My Heart" by Mai Kuraki.  As for a movie theme, "Everlasting" by B'z was great; that track stuck out the most out of all of them for me.

when I first watched Conan in japanese Mune-ga Doki Doki had me right on the floor laughing.
It was so ridiculously karaoke style that I learned all the text without knowing a single word japanese very quickly

The DDL has several collections, all with properly translated track listings. They aren't all up yet, as it takes awhile to get it all done (translation, tagging, etc).

Not true. Kazunari only wrote 1-5, 7-9, and 12. Movie 6 was written by Japanese novelist Hisashi Nozawa, and the two worst, 10 and 11, were written by Hiroshi Kawashiabara (who is also responsible for some fairly unremarkable Lupin titles).

1-6 are great watches, 7-11 lack everything from 1-6 that made them worthwhile. 7 & 8 are just movies whose intended audience is rabid fangirls . 9 was completely pointless, 10 was just too forced, and 11 is embarrassing.

Oh, and by the way, Gosho was fairly heavily involved with the planning of the first half-dozen movies. Many of the ideas present in the first and second films were actually from Gosho himself.

6 is a little meh for me. It was interesting in some ways, but it also wasn't Conan, the mystery was, literally, the worst I have ever read or seen in my life. 7 was a complete disgrace, 8 was an "Airplane!" ripoff 9 was enjoyable, but lacking in any substance and 10&11 were so bad I haven't bothered to rewatch them, a courtesy I afforded all the others except 7.
