ChihayaMafia Round 42

So, the way I've decided to do the story this round is in route format, simply put, after each phase (prep included) I'm going to change the totally legit poll that you see above you, you all will vote on which route to take (there will only be 2 options, no changing your vote, and the results get revealed right at phase change time) and the winning vote will decide on which direction the story will go, It's gonna be as Chihayafuru themed as I can make it, but I might slip up every now and then :P

There are also plenty, and I cannot stress this enough, PLENTY of rule changes, to please look over the changes section that should be appearing on this page any day now

Phase change is here: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/f ... T17&p1=127

I can make it an hour earlier if that's what the majority wants, but I can't compromise any more than that

So until then:

Rules

General rules
Spoiler:
- No Multis: If you play in this game with more than one username, both usernames will be banned from this and all future Mafia games.  Since it is also against forum rules to have multiple accounts, at least one of the accounts will also be deleted.
- No Favoritism: Don't ask the GM for information about other players' roles or try to influence moderator tasks (e.g. ask them to not give certain hints).
- No Intrusion of Reality: You may not copy/quote/screenshot etc. the PM from the GM to prove your role to someone else. But you can claim to be a role, whether it's your real role or not.
- No Hints from the Dead: You can PM people and post without restrictions (except the GM stuff, see above) when you are alive. If you choose to talk while dead (PM or otherwise), you must be careful that you don’t give anything away, whether it’s your suspicions, results of actions, deductions, etc.  Don't ruin the spirit of the game.  When in doubt, refrain.
- No Intrustion of Reality 2: You may fake/quote/edit other players PM, just not the GM ones. However, the posting or PMing of other players’ PMs via screenshots are prohibited.
- No Flustering of the GM: If your PM confuses the GM, the GM will smash it into a billion pieces.
- No Outside Help: People not participating in the game can also talk, but anything that could be a hint or something the reader noticed should not be posted or PMed to the people playing.

Gameplay
Spoiler:
- Sending Game Actions: You have to PM the GM directly to vote/use your ability. Posting in the thread doesn't count. Multi-recipient PMs don’t count.
- Disguise Overlap: If Vermouth and KID are in the same game, it is possible that they are given the same role as a disguise.
- Group Overlap: DB's (Ayumi, Genta, Mitsuhiko), Friends (Sonoko + Best Friend), and Lovers will not overlap.
- Inactivity: If you're inactive for too long (GM discretion) you will be arrested by the GM.
- Handing off Actions: You may tell the GM that another person has the authority to hand over your actions. To do this, you must PM the GM stating so, in a PM also sent to the member(s) you're giving your power to, along with the phases for which they have power over your actions. NOTE: Once you hand power over your actions to someone else, it is immediate, irreversible, and absolute. If you give power of your actions to someone else, any and all orders they make for you will override your own orders, even if you send in newer ones. This is to avoid the GM from getting someone who says "I do X, but if Y wants to change it that's fine~" and then having Y say "I have that person do Z, but if they want to do something else, that's fine~" and having the GM sort through PMs to find out where the final say is. Results of actions will still be sent to the person actually performing the action, and the person who is given control of the other's actions will not be told if their actions were valid or invalid (to prevent this from being used by townies to prove roles/abilities).

General Definitions
Spoiler:
- You can always send in a new action, which will replace the old one.
- If multiple incompatible actions are submitted by a player, the last valid one(s) before time is up is the one that will go through.
- The BO and the DBs have a rank system for giving orders.

Voting
- Everyone can vote during the Day Phase, whether you're Townsfolk or a BO member.
- Exceptions:
a) You're dead
b) You're not in Japan
c) You're arrested
d) You were hindered by an ability (e.g. Tequila).
- Each player’s vote is made public at the end of the Day phase, unless the voting was stopped by a method that obfuscates lynch votes.
- If the player was APTXed or arrested, then his/her vote won't count.

Killing/Arrest/Lynched
- After a player has been killed, lynched, or arrested, their action will be nullified unless it holds a higher position in the Order of Actions. Only exception is Akai's Vengeance.
- In case Kazuha was succesfully APTXed and accompanied someone that was about to be lynched because of 1 vote difference, the reduction of that 1 vote fails and he/she will be lynched.

Wills
- Every player can PM a "Will" to the GM. It can be a letter, a tape or just an item that you'll drop. This Will will be shown in case you're killed.
- The GM has the last decision. In case a will, tape, or method of death is giving out too much info, then it can be changed by the GM accordingly.
- A Will will get lost if the body is removed by Piscos ability. Pisco will receive the Will then.

Crimes
- Killing (normal, sniping or using APTX)
- Framing
- Disguising
- Slandering
- Neutralizing
- Abducting
- Erasing
- Frightening
- Stealing

- Faked Black Suitcase actions are not crimes (even neutralizing etc.).
- Being in the BO is not a crime. So you can't arrest Conia for being Gin.

Condition
All players - except the travelers Hakuba and Maktoto - start the game "alive" (normal). However, their condition might worsen during the course of the game...

Alive: An alive player may use any of his/her abilities according to the rules. They can talk freely and participate in the lynch-voting.
Abroad: This player is out of the country until he/she returns to japan. Any actions used on him will fail. He/she can't be killed. Such players can talk freely, but not participate in lynch-voting or use any ability themselves.
Injured: An injured player can not use any abilities and lose any of their passive abilities like for example a disguise. The only exception is the nightly killing action from BO members (though, they will loose any advantages they normally have like erasing the body or sniping) and Revenge. Injured players can still talk freely and participate in the lynch voting. Injured players may use gadgets given to them.
Suspended: Police who try to arrest someone for a false charge will get suspended for 2 phases after the arrest attempt, as well as the phase the arrest attempt was on. When being suspended, the police will lose all Ability except for Voting on day lynching. So, a police who attempts an arrest on Night 3 would fail any investigations on Night 3, and be suspended for Day 3 and Night 4. On Day 4 they would have normal abilities. Like Injury, they can still use items they're given, though.
Arrested: An arrested player can't use any abilities, but at the same time they also can't be killed. Any actions, except those that release them from prison (Ex: Lawsuit, Satou manually releasing a detainee), them will fail. They can talk freely, but not participate in the lynch voting. The arrested players role will (normally) not be revealed upon the arrest.
Dead: That player was killed during the game. They can no longer participate in this round, however they will still win or lose the game together with their side. Dead players may not give any information concerning the game to others or influence the game in any other way.

Black Organization
Leadership
The BO has a Leader. It starts off as the highest rank BO member (As decided by role list). The Leader has the ultimate right to choose a Night kill target and will give the order. No one can overwrite the Leader's kill order. Other players can also send in the kill order, in case the Leader does not (But they may only send in a kill order for themselves, unless another BO member has given them their actions). The priority of the orders will be decided by the BO ranking. Note that the Leader can only give out Night killing orders, not orders for any other players, or for APTX.
If the Leader orders a Lover to kill the other Lover, it will happen (unless either the Lover was neutralized, or Vodka was the Lover and neutralized the Leader), and the killing Lover will suicide if the kill was successful.
The BO may elect to choose a leader on their own if they wish to override the default leader. Each player should send in a vote for who they think the new leader should be, and that player will become the Leader, effective the next phase. The player must have 50%+ of the BO vote to become leader.
The Leader has the authority to:
- Have the final word on who kills who during the night. They may force any member of the BO to kill anyone else and their word is final.
- Hand out the Black Suitcase. Every Day phase, the leader will choose a member (or ranking of members) to get the suitcase for the following night. In the case that the intended recipient is arrested, killed, or is otherwise unable to receive the item, the suitcase will go to the next eligible player. If nobody is sent the suitcase, the Leader gets it for the night.
NOTE: As BO Leadership is unrelated to the role itself, a BO Leader who is arrested keeps the right to give out orders and the suitcase. A true criminal mastermind is not held back by bars!

INACTIVE BO MEMBERS: The BO Leader can only submit kill orders for the other BO members. NOTHING ELSE!

Other
Each mafia member must attempt a Night murder before any mafia member gets a second turn to kill (unless exceptions apply).
Every member can use the APTX4869 during day phase. Each member can only use one pill per phase.
BO can kill BO if they so wish.
The mafia is allowed to and is expected to consult with each other on who to kill during the night and who to lynch during the day.  You may all vote to lynch different players if you wish.

Phase Changes
Whenever a phase changes, the GM makes a pretty post (along with PMing results of actions to players)! In phase changes, the following things will be shown:
Successful Arrests
Deaths
Roles (where applicable)
lynch votes (+ modifiers like accompany/accusation if it makes a change in the vote)
Hints?!

Lynch votes won't be shown in the case of Voice of Reason and Protection, all other cases it will be shown. Suspensions will not be shown. Injuries will not be shown.

Winning Condition
The game is not over until winning for one side is impossible, given the entire BO votes for one person. Note that normally, this means the BO wins when the number of BO = number of town, however there are a few exceptions, for example:

- If a character able to arrest is in the game, the game won't end because it's possible that they could arrest the rest of the BO and save the day.
- If it's a Night phase and the BO has 1 more players than the town, and the town lacks any police + the ability to stop the night killing, the BO wins that phase (because the kill will always succeed and the vote will then tie)
Changes:
Interrogation removed (inb4 hate)
Kogorou removed
Shinichi/Conan and Heiji have been given SI 1
Yuusaku Removed
Sera Added
Phantom Lady Added
Yoko swapped with Minerva (No, I will not let this go)
Killing actions removed
Slander removed
Gin now has Erase and Investigate 5
Pisco Removed
Inactive players will be erased after 2 phases
Ran can have her injured Status removed if she is healed by Ariade, it can also be removed for 2 turns by Kobayashi, also she may only protect 1 person during the day

DO NOT SEND ME ACTIONS ON IRC, I WILL LAUGH AT YOU

Ability
Note: "Roles with that Status/Ability/etc" may not be entirely accurate. To see if a role has an ability, check that role in the Roles section

Status
Spoiler:
BO Leader
- Roles with that Status: Anokata or chosen leader
- Can order killings
- Can give out the Black Suitcase

Lovers
- Decided by Yumi during prep. phase
- Lovers know the identity of each other.
- Can't befriend Sonoko. DBs Can't be lovers.
- When one lover dies, the other dies too by suicide in the same phase. No one can heal, protect or prevent the death of the suicidal lover.
- A Town/town pair wins together with the town. A BO/BO pair wins together with the BO. A Town/BO pair doesn't win when the town or the BO wins. To win as a town/BO pair they need to kill everyone else.
- Lovers can win while one or both are arrested.
- Lovers can protect each other with the ability Lovey-Dovey, but only their lover. See under Day/Night Abilities.

Friends
- Roles with that Status: Sonoko and her friend
- Know each others identity or just disguise if disguised
- Sonoko can use the same abilities as her friend, as long as their friend is still alive.
- Can't be lovers. Can't befriend DBs or BO besides Vermouth.
- If Sonokos friend is killed during the night (not with sniping), then she'll know the identity of the murderer.

FBI Leader
- Role with that Status: James Black
- At the start of the game, the FBI Leader is told how many subordinates (Jodie, Akai, Camel, Kir) are in the game. This includes characters disguised as the subordinates. He's not told which subordinates are in the game.
- If someone is disguised as a subordinate, then he will get a small hint, like: "You think there is something strange with your subordinate(s)"
- After every Night, he will get up to 2 results from his subordinates chosen at random (the number of reports he gets depends on the number of subordinates in the game, but he can't get more than two).
-In case of Akai, James will only receive one of his
investigations. In case of Kir, James will receive only one of her actions (Betrayal, Investigation or Special Investigation) chosen by random. Same with any other subordinate who uses the Bow-Tie.[/color]

NOC
- Roles with that status: Kir
- She gets to know how many BO are in the game (not the identity)

Detective Boy
- Roles with that Status: Mitsuhiko, Ayumi, Genta
- Know each other’s identity.
- Each game will either have at least 2 DBs, or none at all.
- Each phase, only one DB may use their Day ability. All DBs will receive the result of that day's ability. If two or more DBs hand in an action, the DB with the highest rank will be chosen (Ayumi > Mitsuhiko > Genta).
Prep. Phase Action
Spoiler:
Disguise - Crime
User disguises as Role
- Roles with that action: Vermouth, 1412
- Prep. Phase action, Crime, stays for all Phases as long as it's not removed via injury or an ability
- Can be investigated
- The GM will choose a role not in the game and give that disguise to the player on Night 1. So, this isn't really a prep phase ability anymore, but it doesn't make much sense as a status. The player will still be able to use their disguise abilities on Night 1, this is just because having Vermouth/Kid choose disguises amounted to nothing more than getting a random one anyway.
- The player is able to use all of the abilities that the role they're disguised as could use.
- Scent won't be taken. So 1412 disguised as Akai or Okiya etc, won't have a scent.
- Vermouth will always have a scent, whatever disguise she gets
- They can't disguise as: BO members, Conan, Haibara, DBs (Ayumi, Genta, Mitsuhiko), and Prep. Phase roles (Sonoko, Yumi, Vermouth, 1412, Hakuba, Makoto)
- It is possible that KID and Vermouth obtain the same disguise, as they don't consider disguises as roles "in the game" when getting a disguise.
- The player will have items from his original role and from his disguised role. So he can have 2x gun in case 1412 or Vermouth disguises as a Police officer.

Choose Costumes
User Chooses costumes on Role
- Roles with that action: Yukiko Kudô, Irish
- Prep. Phase action
- During the preparation phase, the player will be given 5 roles she could disguise as. The player has to choose 3 of them that can used during the game.
- All disguises will be town roles. The player will NOT replace that role - so even if he decides to take the disguise as Shinichi, another player could still get the role of Shinichi (or Conan).
- Night Phase: If a player with Choose Costumes has used all 3 of their chosen costumes, and are not disguised at the time, the next Night Phase, they will be given a new list of costumes to choose from.
- Investigation returns true if the Role was one of the costumes they decided to choose.
- Yukiko and Irish can be disguised starting from night 1

Amor
Non-Investigatable
- Roles with that action: Yumi
- Prep. action
- Chooses 4 player, two of them will become lovers

Friendship
User befriends target (works both ways)
- Roles with that action: Sonoko
- Prep. action
- Sonoko chooses a list of players she wants to befriend. (GM tells how many players to chose)
- Sonoko will befriend randomly one of these players. They will become friends and will know the identity of each other.
- Sonoko can befriend travelers. If she befriends a traveler she will start off together with the traveler, and play with the same rules.
- Roles she can't befriend: DB's, Lovers and BO members
- If Sonoko befriends 1412, she will also know the disguised role and not that he’s 1412 disguised as someone. 1412 has the freedom to tell Sonoko that he's 1412 or not.
- When Sonoko's friend dies because he/she was killed by the BO, she will learn the attacker’s identity. She will not learn the identity when her friend was sniped
- Sonoko can use all the abilities of her friends, unless they are Kid, in which case she won't be able to use steal.
-If she befriends Yukiko, she will be able to use the abilities of the disguise if Yukiko is also disguised.
-If she befriends a cop, she won't be able to use detention, or house search
-If her friend dies, she can't use their abilities anymore.
- Sonokos ability > Yumi's ability so Friendship > Lovers
During the prep phase, if Sonoko chooses her friend and Yumi happens to choose the same people as Lovers, then Sonoko’s ability comes first. So the players that got chosen as Best friends and Lovers, will become best friends and not lovers.

Travel
User travels
- Role with that action: Hakuba, Makoto
- Night/Day action and prep. phase action, can't be covered.
- Player does not reside in Japan from the start of the game
- They can choose if they want to travel during the prep phase by sending a PM to the GM. If they do they will be on the plane during Night 1, so they can't use their action during that Night. They will arrive during Day 1 and can participate in Voting or use their Day ability (Makoto).
- The traveling can be hindered, but only in the case of a player flying away from Japan.
- In order to travel, the player needs to PM the GM with the order to do so (whether it's during prep.phase or and night or day phase)
- Not in Japan: The player is handled as if he were arrested. So the player can't be killed in any way, can't use actions besides Travel and can't Vote.  No actions may be taken on him.
- On the plane: All "Not in Japan" rules apply to this as well.
- Leaving Japan: The player can't use an ability/vote and decide to travel at the same time. He can either decide to travel and can't use his abilities or vote in that phase. Or use his abilities/vote but can't travel then. Traveling is the last thing to happen, so any attempts to lynch, discombobulate, APTX, etc made on the player the same phase they're leaving Japan will succeed.
- Investigators who attempt to investigate someone traveling will get a "false" result. Any other actions taken on traveling travelers will discombobulate the user, causing all their actions to fail. The only exception is a killing BO: all their actions will be discombobulated except the actual killing itself.

Example
Hakuba decides to travel to Japan on Night 1. Then he's in the plane on Day 1 (can't Vote and can't be killed either (by lynching or APTX)) Will arrive in Japan at Night 2 and can use his Night actions.
Makoto decides to leave Japan on Night 2.  Vodka uses APTX on him on the following Day, Day 2.  The APTX will be not take effect, and will not be used up.
Hakuba decides to travel on Day 2. In case he was lynched, Hakuba will die. In case the BO wanted to APTX him, he'll die.
Night Action
Spoiler:
Frame - Crime
Non-Investigatable
- Role with that action: Anokata
- Night action, Crime, can be covered
- Can choose to blame a townsperson for committing a crime on that night.
- Investigating this action will come back as true, and so the townsperson can be arrested for this action as well.
- The action Frame cannot be investigated ("Akonyl blames Kleene" results in a false even if Akonyl blamed Kleene for killing someone)
- Vermouth and Irish cannot arrest people for blamed actions.

Erase Body - Crime
User erases target
- Roles with that action: Gin
- Night action, Crime, can't be covered
- The player can always choose to erase a body or not when he is killing the victim himself. It's not a one-time action and can be repeated as long as Gin is the one killing the victim.
- The identity of the erased player won't be shown. Pisco will be the only one who gets to know the identity of the erased body.
- Erase, like any other individual BO action, may not be ordered by the BO Leader.
- The will of the victim won't be shown either. Tho Ginwill get to read the will instead.
- In case Kogoro is drunk, and Eri, Ran, Conan or Shinichi get erased, Kogoro won't become sober.
- Erase Body may be used by Ginwhen he's not the killer, as well. He may only erase the body in this way one time (unless it has been recharged).
- If the kill victim is not successfully killed, the erase counts as having failed.
- May only be used if Ginis not using Erase Evidence the same night.

Erase Evidence - Crime
User erases target (Criminal)
- Role with that action: Gin
- Gin may erase any crime happening this night.
- Gin can only erase each type of crime once ( can't erase Gin slandering himself on Night 1 and erase Calvados slandering Shinichi on Night 2 )
- Can only erase valid crimes (Can't erase Anokata discombobulating somebody just to get a "protect" investigation to show up)
- An erased crime still goes through, however any investigations, arrests, etc on it will return false/fail.
- Only crimes with targets can be erased, so you can't erase "Vermouth disguises as Eri on Night 1".
- May only be used if Gin is not using Erase Body the same night.

Snipe
- Roles with action: Chianti, Korn
- Night action, Crime, can be covered
- Snipe replaces kill for the specified roles.  The BO Leader can therefore order Sniping if the killer is one of the roles with Snipe.
- Snipers will always use Sniping when they are able too.
- Sniping will bypass healing (Heal or First Aid) and kill the target, but not the healer.
-  In case the target is protected, the target doesn't die but the protector will be killed instead.
- In case the target got the watch from Agasa, the target doesn't die, but the watch will get destroyed and won't be usable anymore.
- The identity of the attacker doesn't get revealed in any way (not by Sonoko and not by a protector and their target etc.)
- If the sniper gets discombobulated, nothing will happen. The target or the protectors won’t die and the watch won't get destroyed.

Bribe - Crime
User attacks target
- Roles with that action: Black Suitcase
- Night action, Crime, can't be covered
- Once per game, if the holder of the Black Suitcase is chosen for the night's killing, he may instead use the Suitcase to bribe the GM with its gloriously evil contents for an unstoppable kill. If he does so, he may not use the BS to fake an action that night (however, he can still use it to investigate).
- The BO's kill that night can't be hindered in any way, not even by arresting the killer.
- If someone tries to protect the victim or discombobulate the killer, their actions will fail, as if discombobulated.
- If someone tries to arrest the killer, the arrest will go through, but the killer will still manage to complete the killing from jail.
- If the victim happens to be a traveler and out of the country, they will still die.
- A killer using Bribe may still use their Killing Action.
- If Bribe is used to kill someone who is otherwise unkillable due to status (arrested, traveler abroad), the usage of Bribe will be refunded and it will be able to be used again. So, if you use it to kill an abroad Makoto first, you can use it to kill an annoying Araide later, however if you kill Araide with it first and use it up, you won't be able to kill Makoto because it will be used up.

Frighten - Crime
User frightens target
- Roles with that action: Tequila
- Night action, Crime, can't be covered.
- The Frightened player can't use his ability the next day. He also can't vote the next day.
- If the frightened player hands in a vote or an action, they will be notified that they failed because they were frightened. The player only doesn't get a notice if they handed in nothing that phase.
- Protect used on that day can be frightened. If the player planed to use travel on that day, the traveling will fail too. Akai's Vengeance can be frightened.
- Arrest can't be frightened.

Cover
User protects target
- Role with that action: Calvados
- Night action
- Can choose one ally during the night. That night, Calvados can use one night ability from that ally.
- Allies are all BOs (even if that BO happens to be a BO/Town lover) and Calvados's own lover. Meaning he can cover his Lover that is a townrole too.
- Can cover abilities from disguises.
- Can't choose to cover the same ally two nights in a row (exception if Calvados only has one free ally left in the game).
- Will still work if the ally is arrested/killed that night.
- Will not work on dead or already arrested allies.
- Will not work on killing someone. So Calvados and the covered ally can't both kill in the same night.
- The covered abilities can be normally investigated or seen with stake-out. Meaning "Calvados slanders Akonyl" will get a true.
- If Calvados uses blame, it can't be investigated by anyone (like normal blame)
- Calvados may also choose to cover anybody he isn't allied with at night instead. However, if he does so, he doesn't get to use their ability, although (for example) "Calvados protects Shinichi" will still return a true result if Calvados covered Shinichi (because cover investigates as protection).
- If Calvados covers Akemi, he *may* steal from the same target as Akemi. However, as is the case with Akemi+Kid, they will both steal the same item from the target.
- Can't cover: Frighten, Revenge, Arrest, House Search, Travel
Example
Calvados covers Gin. Gin can use slander and Investigate. But Calvados can just use either slander or investigate. Not both like Gin.

Detect
User detects role
- Role with that action: Bourbon, Okiya
- Night action, can be covered
- Can detect if one certain role is in the game per night. He needs to ask for the character name (Shinichi, Heiji, Ayumi...) and not the role (Detective, Police...)
- If Vermouth is in the game and he Detects Vermouth, he’ll get a True.  Same for 1412. If he asks for his/her disguised role, then he'll get a False.

Example
Vermouth disguised as Ran. Shinichi is in the game, Conan isn't.
Detect: Vermouth is in the game.
Answer from GM: True
Detect: Ran is in the game
Answer from GM: False
Detect: Conan is in the game
Answer from GM: False
Detect: Shinichi is in the game
Answer from GM: True

Confuse - Crime
User discombobulates target.
- Roles with that action: Yamamura
- Night action, Crime, can be covered
- Yamamura chooses a target. This target will have every action of theirs that night performed on a random player rather than their intended targets. The target will be notified that they were confused. Can also target self if confused, but only if possible (Ran cannot happen to protect herself).
- All restrictions to discombobulate apply to Confuse, just that the target has their target swapped instead of action nullified.

Discombobulate - Crime
User discombobulates target.
- Roles with that action: Eisuke, Vodka, Minerva
- Night action, Crime, can be covered
- People that were discombobulated will fail with their night action on the same night.
- Affects all Night actions, also Day/Night actions that were performed at night. Only exception is Arrest, you can never discombobulate an arrest. You can discombobulate House Search. You also can't discombobulate Quickshot.
- The Night action Arrest can't be discombobulated in any way.
- Discombobulation doesn't affect Day actions.
- All other night actions can be discombobulated. You can also discombobulate the interrogation/investigation that the player was able to do through the Bow-tie from Agasa. Protection from the tranquilizer watch can be discombobulated too. You can also discombobulate the "fake investigations" that are possible through the Black Suitcase. Frame can be discombobulated too.
- Travel CAN be discombobulated! Only when they're in Japan though.
- Discombobulation can prevent the BO from killing someone.
- If a discombobulated action is investigated, then the action will be shown as "false", because the action wasn't done in the end.
- The people discombobulated will get a PM from the GM that their night action failed. They will only get a notice in case they used a night action. If they have a night action and didn't use it or have a day action or no active action, they won't know that they were discombobulated via PM.
- Players, that used a Night action and weren't discombobulated, will get a PM with "You slandered your target", "You used heal on your target" etc.
- The one who used Discombobulate will get a PM: "You used discombobulate on your target", but he won't know if that target actually used a night action, or if he actually has a night action but instead a day action etc.
- In case the Discombobulator was discombobulated, he'll get the message: "Your action failed". He will also get that message in case he wanted to discombobulate someone that isn't in Japan.
- If he discombobulates somebody who used Bribe or Quickshot, he will still receive a "successfull discombobulation" message, as the other actions of the briber/quickshotter could have been affected.
- May NOT discombobulate themselves, because it will discombobulate the GM.

Steal - Crime
User steals from target
- Roles with that action: 1412, Akemi
- Night action, Crime, can be covered
- Can steal one item from one person per night. Can steal from that person again on the next night.
- An already stolen item will be gone from a player’s inventory and can't be stolen again.
- Items stolen will NOT be added to the thief’s inventory.
- If the player steals from a disguised player, he can steal from the disguise or from the original role (1412, Vermouth). The player won't know it it's from the disguise or not. If the disguised player has 2x gun for example, he can steal a gun 2x.
- The player who was stolen from will get a notification on the item that he lost. But he won't know who the thief was (not if it's 1412 or Akemi or which player stole from him).
- If a player gets stolen from by 2 or more different thieves, all thieves will "get the same item." It doesn't mean that the item is there 2x+. But in case a player has just one pair of glasses (Araide), then all thieves and the one who was stolen from will get a notification, that his glasses were stolen and that another, or two other, etc. thieves also wanted to steal the same glasses. (Meaning, one thief got the glasses, the other thieves also wanted them but didn't get them, because they saw the other thief running away with that item. But no one will know who actually got the glasses, since it's not important.)
-Everyone involved gets the info, that glasses were stolen and that 2 (or more) thieves wanted this item.
-All thieves are guilty for that crime. So all of them can be arrested for it.

Items that can be stolen from a role

Everyone from the BO (Anokata, Gin, Vermouth, Bourbon, Pisco, Irish, Vodka, Calvados, Chianti, Korn, Tequilla, Akemi, Shiho),

Observe
User observes target
- Role with that action: Jodie, Camel, Chianti, Korn
- Night action, can be covered
- Observe/Stake-out is handled as the same action when investigated/stake-out
- May choose a player to observe during the night. When the night is over the player will learn if that player is a child, teenager or adult.
- If the target is disguised, then the player will learn it for the disguise, not the true identity.
- If Anokata is observed, the action will give out the result Anokata was given at the beginning of the game.

Investigate #
User investigates target
- Role with that action: Gin, Megure, Satou, Shiratori, Yumi, Akai, Shinichi, Heiji, Conan, Sera
- Night action, can be covered
- Investigate/Special Investigate is handled as the same action when investigated/staked-out
- The player can Investigate a certain number of actions "#". He can only Investigate the actions that are happening in the same night he's Investigating. He may not Investigate actions from previous nights, or Day actions.
- He may investigate if someone is disguised, but he must name the specific disguise.
- He may investigate killings and attacks. If the killing was interrupted by protection, healing or first aid then the investigation will still be true and considered an attack. If the killing was discombobulated/tricked, then it did not happen and cannot be investigated.
- If a discombobulated action is investigated, then the action will be shown as "false", because the action wasn't done in the end.
- If the player was killed, the action wasn't done and it will come out as "False"
- Even if a protection or heal wasn't necessary, as long as the player did the order and wasn't discombobulated or killed, it will come out as "True"
- Black Suitcase and Blamed actions appear as if they were legitimate actions.
- Killing/Attack/Murder Healing/First Aid; Investigate/Special Investigate; Protect/Lovey-Dovey/Bone Breaking; Observe/Stake-out are considered the same actions. (check the keyword at each ability to make sure)

Examples
Disguise: conia(Vermouth) is disguised as Ran. Akonyl(KID) is disguised as Shinichi.
"Akonyl disguised as Shinichi" - True
"Conia disguised as Vermouth" - Invalid investigation, since you need to ask for the disguise -> false
"Conia disguised as Ran" - True
"Conia disguised as Schinichi" - False

Actions: conia kills Ctu. Xpon investigates conia.
"Conia kills CTU" - True
"xpon investigates conia" - True
"Xpon kills CTU" - False

or

Akonyl kills PhoenixTears. Yurikochan protects PhoenixTears. PhoenixTears interrogates Conia.
"Akonyl kills PT" - True
"Yurikochan protects PT" - True
"PT interrogates Conia" - True

or

Akonyl kills PhoenixTears. Yurikochan protects PhoenixTears. Conia discombobulates Akonyl.
"Akonyl kills PT" - False
"Yurikochan protects PT" - True
"Conia discombobulates Akonyl" - True

Actions considered the same: Kleene(Araide) heals Akonyl, Akonyl (Kobayashi) uses First Aid on pofa; Conia(Akai) and Yurikochan(Makoto) are lovers and Conia(Akai) uses Lovey-Dovey on Yurikochan(Makoto), while Yuriko protects Conia with Protect.
"Akonyl heals/first aids pofa" - True
"Kleene heals/first aids Akonyl" - True
"Kleene protects Akonyl" - False
"Conia protects Yurikochan" - True
"Yurikochan protects Conia" - True
Etc.

Fake actions and blamed actions:
Akonyl(Anokata) uses Black Suitcase and interrogates xpon(Haibara). Akonyl kills CTU. Xpon is blamed for killing CTU.
"Akonyl interrogates xpon" - True
"Xpon kills CTU" - True

Special Investigate #
User investigates target
- Role with that action: James, Kir, Officer Tome, Bourbon(Killing)
- Night action, can be covered
- Investigate/Special Investigate is handled as the same action when investigated/staked-out
- Same as Investigate # but can just Investigate one action (same investigation rules apply here)
- The investigated action must have happened in the past. (normal investigation can just investigate the things that happen in the same phase) So if James investigates something on Night 3, he can investigate "Akonyl protected conia on Night 1" (needs to give the info on what night it happened. Can be the same night he's investigating too)
- Officer Tome can investigate actions that happen during preparation phase, but only actions that can be investigated. James and Kir cannot.
- Cannot investigate actions that are happening the night of special investigate.
- Things that can be investigated from prep phase: Disguise, Choose Costumes, Friendship and Travel.

Cross-examine
User interrogates target
- Roles with that action: Eri, Kujou
- Night action, can be covered
- The player can choose to cross-exame one player, to find out whether they have committed any crimes so far (includes prep phase).
- Can't cross-examine for a specific player and won't learn which crimes have been committed.
- She'll get the result "true" or "false".
- Framed actions count as a crime.
- If Anokata has used Frame, he shows up as guilty as well.
- Crimes committed during the same phase don't count.
- Can be discombobulated. Then the Player won't get any results but a "failed action" as a PM

Stake-Out
User observes target
- Role with that action: Takagi, Chiba, Korn, Jodie, Camel
- Night action, can be covered
- Observe/Stake-out is handled as the same action when investigated/staked-out
- The policeman learns of all actions performed to a player that night. So, "Akonyl stakes out Kleene" may result in a PM of "Kleene was healed, and discombobulated", for example.
- If Abs uses the black suitcase to "interrogate" Kleene, the PM will simply state that Kleene was interrogated, not that she was interrogated with the Black Suitcase. Same with blamed actions, like "Kleene was slandered", even when it was a blamed action.
- You will not know how often someone was slandered or how often someone was interrogated. Just that he/she was interrogated etc.
- You will not learn who the interrogator etc. is either. Just what actions were used on the target.
- If the target was killed, then you won't get any results back.
- Effectively, if every action happening in the game that night was investigated, the true investigations with this player as the target would have their keyword show up. If such an investigation would fail, the stake-out would fail too, if it would succeed, stake out would succeed. So, BSed actions show up on Stake-out, actions that have been erased do not.

Example
Anokata blames "Akonyl slanders Kleene", PhoenixTears and Nomemory interrogates Kleene, Conia investigates "Kleene protects Akonyl" and CTU uses Heal on Kleene with the Black Suitcase.
Stake-out result will be: "Kleene was slandered, interrogated, investigated and healed/First Aided" although it was a fake action through blaming.

House Search
User house searches target
- Role with that action: Megure, Shiratori
- Night action, can't be covered.
- Can order a house search each Night. This will reveal all crimes the target made, but only by keyword. So, if Akonyl has discombobulated Kleene, when he's house searched, Megure would learn "Akonyl is guilty of discombobulation", not "Akonyl is gulity of discombobulating Kleene".
- The player won't know any other actions done or the identity of the target. Even if he/she committed a crime.
- If the target DID commit a crime, even if it was a blamed action, the target is Auto-Arrested on the same phase.
- If the target did not commit a crime (blamed actions count as a crime), then the player will be suspended, just like with a failed arrest.
- After the suspension is over, the police officer can use all abilities he had before, besides house search. He won't be able to use House search for the rest of the game.
- If the target has not committed a crime yet, but commits a crime in the same phase as the House Search order is given, the House Search will still be considered a failure, and the officer will suffer the consequences.
- Crimes are: see under General Definitions.
- Being in the BO isn't a crime. So you can't arrest Conia for being Gin.
- House search can be discombobulated and hindered by killing the police officer.

Snipe Guard
User protects target (protectee)
User attacks target (sniper) - only if successful
- Role with that action: Akai
- Night action, handled like protect when investigated, can be covered
- Protect/Snipe Guarding is handled as the same action when investigated/stake-out
- To make this read better, all "sniping" refers to the abilities Headshot and Quickshot. :V
- The player can use the ability on one target. This target will be protected completly in case he/she was about to get sniped. The sniper will fail his killing and will get injured as a result.
- If the target was killed in another way than sniping, then the target will die and Akai didn't injure anyone.
- If Akai targets a sniper that is about to snipe someone, nothing will happen to the sniper and the victim will die.
- If the sniper was injured, the sniper can't use snipe anymore, but can still kill normally. Also, they can still use Revenge as the only exception when someone gets injured.
- If Akai is successful, he will be told that he injured a sniper and the sniper will obviously be told that they're injured. The protected player won't be told anything. Also if Akai succeeds, it counts as Akai attacking the sniper (in addition to protecting the target) and can be investigated as such.
- Snipe Guard > Watch protection > Protect > Heal > First Aid

Heal
User heals target
- Role with that action: Araide
- Night action, can be covered
- Heal/First aid is handled as the same action when investigated/staked-out
- Can use Heal on any player, including himself.
- The healed player doesn't die because of Killing.
- Can cure an injured player
- If the target was sniped, heal won't save the victim. The healer won't die.
- If successfully healed, the healer will know that he saved the target. The target and the attacker will be notified that the target was healed, but not by whom.
- No one will learn the attacker’s identity in any way.
- Snipe Guard > Watch protection > Protect > Heal > First Aid

First Aid
User heals target
- Role with that action: Kobayashi
- Night action, can be covered
- Heal/First aid is handled as the same action when investigated/stake-out
- May use First Aid on himself/herself.
- The player who received First Aid will not die if attacked, but will instead become injured.
- The action that was done by the one who was attacked will fail, because he got injured.
- If sniped, the target will still die and won't be saved. The First Aid user won't die.
- If succesfully healed/First aided, the healer will know that he saved the target. The target and the attacker will know that someone healed/First aided the target, but not who.
- No one will learn the attacker's ability in any way
- Snipe Guard > Watch protection > Protect > Heal > First Aid

Lawsuit
Non-Investigatable
- Role with that action: Eri
- Night action, can be covered just once (as long as it wasn't already used by the original role)
- Usable once per game.  Can bring back anyone who has been arrested with a lawsuit. There will be a message that the imprisoned player is out of prison. The identity of the one who was in prison won't get revealed to anyone.

Betrayal
Non-Investigatable
- Role with that action: Kir
- Night action, can be covered
- If she decides to use betrayal, she randomly get's to know one activity of the BO that was done on that night.

Killing/Sniping: A BO (Gin etc.) killed on that night or a sniper sniped someone etc.
Slander: Gin used slander on that night (doesn't know on who)
Investigate: Gin investigated someone. (doesn't know what)
Erase: Pisco erased someone. Will get to know the identity of the role that was erased and will be also given the Will if there is one.
Detect: Get's to know that Bourbon used Detect (but doesn't know what)
Spy: Knows that Bourbon used Spy (doesn't get to know what and the results)
Discombobulate: Knows that Vodka discombobulated on that night (not knowing who the target was)
Frighten: Knows that Tequila frightened someone (not on who)
Poison: Knows who Sherry tried to poison that night (not for what role(
Bribe: Knows that Pisco bribed the GM
Steal: Knows that Akemi stole from someone (not who and what item was stolen)
Observe: Knows that Chianti used Observe (not on who)
Stake-out: Knows that Korn used Stake-out (not on who)
Covered abilities: DOESN'T get to know what ability Calvados covered and used
Disguised abilities: DOESN'T get to know what Irish or Vermouth did with their disguise. Doesn't know what disguises they have either.
Black Suitcase: DOESN'T get to know who used or who got the Black Suitcase.
Blame: DOESN'T get to know if someone was blamed

Collect Sample
Non-Investigatable
- Role with that action: Sherry
- Night action, can't be covered
- Sherry may choose any player to collect a sample from. She takes a strand of hair or something. Let's not get too specific.
- If she succeeds, she has a sample of their DNA for usage in experiments.

Experiment
Non-Investigatable
- Role with that action: Sherry
- Night action, can't be covered
- Sherry may choose any player to experiment on, as long as she has already collected a sample from them.
- As she has their DNA, she can choose a role and experiment on it. If the chosen player is that role, the experiment is a success. Otherwise, it fails.
- So basically, Night-Identify, but you need to have used Collect Sample on the player first.

Day Action
Spoiler:
APTX4869 - Crime
User poisons target
- Roles with that Action: all BO
- Day action, Crime
- The whole BO get capsules with APTX4869 each game. The number of capsules at the beginning of the game is always 3!
- During each day any BO member may attempt to poison another player (BO or Townie) by sending a PM with that players name and identity to the GM.
APTX: Kleene = Shinichi for example
- If the BO tries APTX on 1412 disguised as Shinichi, the BO must guess that player is 1412 and not Shinichi.
- Succseful APTX: The target was that role (success). The BO will keep the APTX. The actions and the votes of the victim doesn't count and the target dies. Arrest can't be hindered by poisoning, though.
- Failed APTX: The APTX will be used up and the BO will lose it. The victim won't know that he was targeted. The BO will get a message that the APTX failed and how many APTX are left.
- Discombobulated APTX: In the case of a completely failed APTXing (such that the target was invalid in some way, or the poisoner was frightened, etc), the target doesn't die and the capsule isn't used up. The exception to this is if the poisoner is arrested.
- Different BO members can try to poison different targets (or the same target) the same day. Each BO can only start one poison attempt each day. If there are more poisoning attempts than remaining APTX the higher-ranked BO members poisoning attempts takes priority.
Example
Gin can poison pofa as Shinichi. But Gin can't poison pofa as Shinichi AND Ctu as Ran.
Gin can poison pofa as Shinichi and Vermouth can poison pofa as Ran.
- If the BO member who used APTX was lynched, the APTX is still effective and the target will still die.
- APTX can't hinder an arrest. Even if the arresting officer is successfully APTXed by another BO member who is not also being arrested, the arrest still happens.  The arresting officer will die after the arrest takes place.
- Arresting the BO member who does the poisoning WILL hinder the poisoning.  In this case, the APTX is confiscated and it is lost
- APTX > lynching: In case the target player is lynched and APTXed, then the APTX will be first, then the lynching. So if the APTX failed, the APTX will be used up and the target dies after that.

Black Suitcase
Handing out is Non-Investigatable
- Role with that action: Anokata or BO Leader
- Day action
- During each day the Leader (also, next highest-ranked BO in case Leader dies or is arrested) can decide to give the "Black Suitcase" to any player (even himself). He can also choose a substitute in case that player is killed/arrested.
- A player with the Black Suitcase gains the ability to do the following:
- The player may use Investigate 4 and either (1 Fake Action OR Bribe-Kill)
- Abilities that can be faked with the BS: Interrogate, investigate, observe, protect, heal, discombobulate, arrest, steal (Basically, any night ability). A player may, for example, fake "I interrogate Akonyl", causing investigations/stake-outs/etc to show Akonyl as being interrogated. However, the user of the BS will receive no results for this, nor will protecting protect, heal heal, etc.
- If the user chooses to fake an action, they can also investigate 4 real actions. Thus, they will get results from these 4 investigations, but if they so wish, they can fake a 5th which will yeild no results.
- If the player holding the BS does not fake an ability and is chosen to do the killing for the night for the BO, that player may instead use the ability "Bribe" to perform the killing. The player may still use the real investigates of the suitcase.
- The player can use his real ability (for example Slander) and a fake ability (for example Investigate 5 or Heal etc.) in the same night.
- If the player is discombobulated, the Black Suitcase action will fail as well as any other Night actions. Meaning the investigation of that fake action will come out as "False". If the suitcase is used to Bribe though, the kill will still go through (though the player will still be discombobulated).
- The player will be notified, that he was discombobulated, even if he doesn't have a real night ability.
Example
Anokata (Kleene) can give the Suitcase to himself during Day 1. During Night 2, he can (for example) interrogate another player (Akonyl). Anyone Investigating "Kleene interrogates Akonyl" will receive a "True" result. However, Anokata (Kleene) will not gain a result on his fake Interrogation.

Temporary Disguise
User disguises as role
- Roles with that action: Yukiko Kudô, Irish
- Day action, Crime
- Can be investigated like a normal disguise
- During the day, Yukiko can choose one of the costumes to disguise as that role during the next night. During the next night she can use any of her disguises abilities.
- After the night Yukiko will no longer be disguised.
- She can not disguise as the same role twice. (So she can only be disguised during a total of 3 nights.)
- House-search will lead to Yukikos arrest, if she disguised already during the game.
- An arrest will only succeed if the officer arresting him/her adds the correct time of the disguise (the day phase he/she donned the disguise or the night phase she wore it). If no time is given during the arrest attempt, the arrest attempt will "fail" even if the correct disguise is given, because the order wasn't given correctly. There will be no suspension for that.
- Consequences of actions will still affect the player, even when he lost his disguise. So if he got suspended he can not use any action during the next 2 phases. If he got injured while disguising as Ran he will stay injured.
- He won't be disguised during the day. So no day actions of the costumes can be used.
- If the player is disguised, then all items from the real role and from the disguise can be stolen. When the player isn't disguised, he'll lose the stealable items of the disguised role (the items don't stay and stack)
- Can be investigated like a normal disguise.

Bow-tie and Watch
Watch: User protects watch-recipient (On night where recipient has the watch)
Watch: watch-recipient protects watch-recipient (On night where recipient has the watch)
- Role with that action: Agasa
- Day action
- Bow-tie: Can lend it to anyone for a night except for himself (and it is returned at the end of the night). Someone in possession of the bow-tie can act if he were Conan and can choose to Interrogate OR Investigate 5. (Not both)
- Watch: Can also lend the watch to anyone for one night except for himself (and it is returned at the end of the night). Someone in possession of the Watch is protected from the BO as if he were protected by Ran or Makoto, but he needs to fire from the distance so he does not get to see the attacker's face and will therefore not learn his identity.
- If Agasa gives Akonyl the watch on Day 2, a Night 3 investigation of "Agasa protects Akonyl" will return true.
- He may lend both to the same person. While he has to decide whom he'll give it to during the day, he may include (ordered) alternatives in case the one he chose gets lynched/etc.
- If Ran or Makoto gets the watch, they Protect themselves. So when they are targeted, they will be protected be the watch. If they protect someone successfully with the watch, they will still be penalized. If the protected one was sniped while Ran or Makoto had the watch, the watch won't be destroyed, but one of the protectors will still die.
- If healer or first aid user gets the Watch, he can also only use the watch to defend himself.
- If the recipient of the Bow-tie has a normal Interrogate or Investigate due to his/her role, he can use both that interrogate/investigate and the normal one. So he can use 1x interrogate and 1x investigate or 2x interrogate/investigate
- Watch protection > Protect > Heal > First Aid

Follow
Non-investigatable
- Role with that action: Haibara, Sera
- Day action
- She may accompany anyone during the day and the accompanied will learn that someone accompanied/followed them (Kazuha, Haibara, and Sera's following notices are the same).
- As a result she will get either: "Has a scent" or "Has no scent"

Accompany
Non-investigatable
- Role with that action: Kazuha
- Day action
- The target will have his/her lynching votes reduced by 1 for that day.
- There will be just a public notice that 1 vote was reduced, in case that person was about to be lynched. Otherwise no one will know that a vote was reduced by 1. Lynch votes will be shown as normal.
- She may accompany anyone during the day and the accompanied will learn that someone accompanied/followed them (Kazuha + Haibara's following notices are the same). She can't accompany herself.

Voice of Reason
Non-investigatable
- Roles with that action: Eri, Kobayashi
- Day action
- Can stop the lynching once per game. Doing so will not expose her role. The lynching must be stopped before the results are known, and if successful no one will be killed by lynching during that day. The lynching votes will not be shown.

Voice of Accusation
Non-investigatable
- Roles with that action: Kujou
- Day action
- When Kujou votes during a lynching, she may use Voice of Accusation. Voice of Accusation makes Kujou's vote count as an extra vote.
- Voice of Accusation may only be used when Kujou is voting to lynch somebody she has Cross-Examined previously.
- Once Kujou has lynched somebody using Voice of Accusation was a deciding factor in having the person lynched, she may not use it again. However, she may repeatedly use it if she votes in landslide votes in which it makes no difference.
- If Voice of Accusation causes a player to be lynched, there will be a notice that one vote was increased by 1, much like the Accompany notice.

Identify
Non-investigatable
- Role with that action: Ayumi
- Day action
- Decide to Identify one persons role (Akonyl is Sonoko, Callid is Eisuke, mangaluva is Bourbon)
- If the person is disguised, they can't Identify the disguise but have to Identify if the player is 1412 or Vermouth.
- Only one DB may use an action per Day.
- Though they have to come to a consensus as a group as to what ability to use, the DBs act independently, so to hinder a DB ability you must hinder the DB actually using the ability.

DB Investigate
Non-investigatable
- Role with that action: Mitsuhiko
- Day action
- DB Investigate can be used to investigate anything investigatable by Special Investigate. DB Investigate may not investigate Day actions, only Night actions.
- DB Investigate may not be used two day phases in a row unless there exist no other DBs able to hand in an action (detained/arrested/killed/injured/etc).
- Only one DB may use an action per Day.
- Though they have to come to a consensus as a group as to what ability to use, the DBs act independently, so to hinder a DB ability you must hinder the DB actually using the ability.

DB Detect
Non-investigatable
- Role with that action: Genta
- Day action
- Can detect if one certain role is in the game per night. He needs to ask for the character name (Shinichi, Heiji, Ayumi...) and not the role (Detective, Police...)
- If Vermouth is in the game and he Detects Vermouth, he’ll get a True.  Same for 1412. If he asks for his/her disguised role, then he'll get a False.
- Only one DB may use an action per Day.
- Though they have to come to a consensus as a group as to what ability to use, the DBs act independently, so to hinder a DB ability you must hinder the DB actually using the ability.

Charm
Non-investigatable
- Role with that action: Kazuha
- Day action
- Can give out the Health Charm. The same phase and the phase afterwards, the target will be protected from APTX poisoning (Stable and Volatile).
- The Charm will only be used up, if the person with the charm would have been poisoned otherwise.  BO will not be specially notified that the charm was in play.
- Can only give the charm to herself once.
- Kazuha won't know the identity of the one who received the Charm. The one who got the Charm will just know that Kazuha gave it to him/her, not the identity of the player.
- Kazuha will be notified if the charm is used up, as will the player who was holding the charm at the time.

Night/Day Action
Spoiler:
Arrest
User arrests target
- Role with that action: Megure, Satou, Takagi, Shiratori, Chiba, Yumi, Yamato
- Night/Day action, can't be covered, can't be frightened or discombobulated.
- Can arrest any player at Night or Day, except for themselves.
- Needs to accuse a player for a specific crime during a specific past phase: "Arrest Akonyl for Killing Conia on Night 1" or "Arrest Conia for Slandering pofa on Night 2" or “Arrest Sebolains for disguising as Megure on Night 3." Yukiko and Irish must be arrested for the right disguise during the right time frame. Kid and Vermouth lose their disguise if injured, so it is to the policeman's advantage to provide a specific phase when arresting for disguise.
- The crime can be done on any Night or Day, but it CANNOT be in the same phase that the arrest is happening
- MAY NOT arrest someone for helping with a crime: "Akonyl helped Conia in killing pofa"
- You may arrest for prep phase crimes.
- Crimes are: see under General Dhttp://forums.dctp.ws/index.php?action=post;msg=508146;topic=6347.0;sesc=28d04bc4b0647230b98033c73d497cc7efinitions.
- Being in the BO isn't a crime. So you can't arrest Conia for being Gin.
- Arresting can't be hindered in any way. Not by discombobulating, frightening or killing the police officer.
- If a police officer arrests somebody for a false charge, they will be suspended (See suspension in the definitions).
- There will be info on the Arrest:
1) If successful, then there will be info that an unidentified police officer Arrested Player XYZ successfully (identity won't get revealed)
2) If there is a failed arrest attempt, nothing will be said in the phase change post.
- An arrested person's identity remains secret.
- Players can be arrested for blamed actions, even though the player didn't do it.
- The BO can't arrest someone for a blamed action in any way. But a town player, that is a lover with a BO, can arrest someone for a blamed action.
- The action and/or vote of a successfully arrested player will not go thorough and will fail.
- An unsuccessful arrest attempt can still be investigated as "true".

Detention (+Release)
User arrests target
Releasing a prisoner cannot be investigated.
- Role with that action: Satou, Yamamura
- Night/Day action, can't be covered, can't be frightened or discombobulated.
- Can put any player in detention at Night or Day, except for themselves.
- The player will then be in detention until they are released
- Only one player at a time can be in detention
- Detention is handled the same as arrest for all purposes
- The player will be released automatically after 3 phases, if the detainer dies or is injured, or if the detainer gained the ability through a disguise which they lost (So, if Irish detains someone, they will be arrested at the beginning of the phase but released at the end of the phase automatically).
- The detainer may release their prisoner early if they see fit.
- If all BO players are either dead or arrested and the only remaining BO is in detention, the game ends (Special case to avoid stretching things out)
- Can not be used on the same person twice in a row.
- Due to the paperwork involved in detaining someone without a reason to, the detainer is unable to perform any actions other than Detain on the Night phase that they detain someone on. If instead, they detain someone during a Day phase, this happens on the following Night phase instead.
- Clarification: The detainer cannot detain somebody the same phase that the last player she detained is being released on.

Revenge
User attacks target
- Role with this action: Chianti, Korn
- Night/Day action, can't be covered
- When they get lynched, the target of their own lynching vote will become "injured"
- When they become arrested, the officer(s) arresting them will become "Temporary Injured"(same length as a suspension). However, it also means that it will be painfully obvious that they're a sniper.
- If injured by Snipe Guarding, the sniper can still use this action (only exception)

Vengeance
User attacks target
- Role with that action: Akai
- Night/Day action, can't be covered
- If Akai gets lynched, he'll automatically kill the person he voted for too.
- If APTXed and lynched, the one he voted for will still get killed.
- If APTXed at day or night, he won't injure the poisoner.
- If Frightened, he can't vote and can't use this action. Same with discombobulation.
- If killed successfully, he will injure his attacker before he dies. If healed or if the kill get's prevented in any way, he won't injure the attacker.
- An injured BO will lose all of his abilities, and abilities to kill (like sniping). However, he can still regularly kill at night and use items like black suitcase and bow-tie/watch.

Pinch Face
User pinches the face of target
- Role with that action: Nakamori
- Night/Day action, can be covered
- Once within every two phases Nakamori can check a player for a disguise (Night 1 or Day 1, then Night 2 or Day 2... So, he can do it Night 1, then Night 2. Or he can do it Day 1, then Night 2.)
- If the player is not in disguise, the action will return a false
- If they are, they will be automatically arrested, then stripped of their disguise and their action for that phase will fail
- Nakamori will learn that the player was in disguise and also which disguise it was.
- Kid and Vermouth will then be assigned a new disguise at random if they are released from jail.
- If Yukiko is pinched and arrested, she does not get a new role when freed.
- The target will be notified that they were pinched.
- Can be discombobulated/frightened.

Travel
See prep phase abilities.

Protect
User protects target
- Role with that action: Makoto, Ran
- Night/Day action, can be covered
- Protect/Lovey-Dovey/Bone Breaking is handled as the same action when investigated/stake-out
- May choose to Protect 1 person during the day. If the protected person is going to get lynched, they will jump in and stop the lynching.  The lynching votes will not be shown.
- May also choose one individual to Protect at night. If said individual is about to be killed by the BO, he again Protects the individual. The protected also learns if he was Protected (only if the protection was necessary, though). The killer also finds out that the target was protected. The Protected individual and the Protector then learns the identity of the attacker
- Penalties:
Makoto: If Makoto successfully protects someone, he'll automatically fly out of Japan at the end of that phase. So, if Makoto protects somebody on Night 2, he will be on the plane on Day 2, and then be Abroad on Night 3, at which point he could choose to fly back to Japan (and arrive again on Night 4), or stay there.
Ran: If Ran successfully protects someone, she'll get Injured and can't protect anybody anymore. But she can still talk freely and vote.
An Injured Ran MAY be healed and lose her Injured status this way.
- If discombobulated while protecting, the protection will fail and they don’t Protect the person. So they don't fly away or get injured, nor do they learn the identity of the attacker.
- Can't protect anyone from APTX
- May not protect themselves.  MAY protect each other.
- Snipe Guard > Watch protection > Protect > Heal > First Aid

Lovey-Dovey
User protects target
- Roles with that action: Lovers
- Night/Day action, can't be covered
- Protect/Lovey-Dovey/Bone Breaking is handled as the same action when investigated/stake-out
- The lover can protect the other lover during day or night. Can't use it on anyone else besides his/her lover
- Lovey-Dovey protects against all things that a normal protect would protect against, however the protector does not die/become injured/travel/etc, and the identity of the attacker is not revealed. Even if Headshot is used, the lovey-dovey protector does not die.
- In addition, Lovey-Dovey can protect against lynching and APTX.
- This follows the same rules as protect, but it will also hinder lynching, killing, sniping and even APTX
- Just one lover can use protect. They can't protect each other in the same phase.
- It's not failsafe, and can be discombobulated and frightened. Confuse is ineffective, because the lovers are smart enough to not get lovey-dovey with someone who isn't their lover.
- You can only protect once per Day/Night. So you have to choose if you protect your lover on night 1. Then neither of the lovers can use protect on day 1 anymore. But they can decide to use it either on Night 2 or Day 2 again etc.
- If they decide to protect during Day 1 instead of Night 1, they can use it again on Night2 or Day 2.
- If it successfully hinders a lynching, killing, sniping, or poisoning, the lovers lose this ability for 2 phases

hmmmmmmm, this is an interestin enough ruleset that I might actually join :V

dunno yet though.

one thing I noticed though: doesn't Sera pretty much just make Haibara suck? I guess Ai has teh child thing going for her, but that's as much a detriment as it is an advantage. Also seems a bit odd to keep follow in if interrogation's going out the window.

I don't really see how, not like she's being crippled or anything, just adding someone else with her action :P
