Important Notes: read before you sign up!

- Make sure you're available to/plan to actually play the game! Do not join if you do not intend to play the game. If you sign up to play, you are expected to send in actions, vote, etc. On that line of thought: everyone must PM me every phase either with their actions OR with a statement letting me know they are still active. Failure to do either of these things will result in getting a strike. Three strikes, and you'll be erased from the game. Note: these do not have to be consecutive phases.

- I will be lenient with those who have RL circumstances come up that prevent them from sending actions, just make sure you let me know that you won't be around due to RL circumstances. I will definitely work with you on that.

- Role-handoffs (for BO/DBs/Lovers only)! Each person may only be responsible for up to one other person's actions at any time. That means Gin cannot be handing in actions for him, Vermouth, Anokata, Chianti and Bourbon in the same phase. This has been a problem several times in the last ten games or so; GM will not let that happen again. It's not fair to put all the pressure of handing everything in on your teammate and not do anything yourself. You must PM the GM with who will be handling your actions, otherwise it will not be accepted!

- Minor Note: For the BO, everyone may not be around close to phase change due to timezones, and sometimes things need to be changed at the last minute, so here's the deal: if you send in a preliminary action with a note saying the BO can change it, then any BO member can change that action if they need to. If you do not send in a preliminary action, then only a designated BO member is handling no more than their own actions already may submit an action for you. Soo

To clarify:
If Vermouth is not going to be around close to phase change but submits her actions with a note saying the BO can change it, then any BO can change it. If she does not submit actions at all, then she must choose a BO member who is only handling their own actions for that phase to submit her actions. If she does neither of these things, it will be a strike against her.

Town members who are not part of a group may not hand their role off to another player.

Prep Phase begins

First of all, a few important introductions...

Commi-Ninja (a.k.a. "the writer"); CHAIN CHOMP! Abs.; BLOOPER! Jd-; GOOMBA! hopelessidiot; BOO! PhoenixTears (a.k.a. "the GM"); BOB-OMB! And now, back to the your regularly-scheduled mafia game...

The convention center was packed chock-full of the baddest of the bad, the cream of the crop of pure evil, the spawn of Satan himself.  So everything was going quite as according to plan.  What was not according to plan was that the convention, The Worldwide Existence of Really Evil Entities, Villains Illegally Lounging, could not be organized to save their lives.  The differing views on how to dispose of heroes, from eating them alive to blowing them up to making coats out of their skin and everything in between, caused so much tension in the group of gathered ghouls that no solid conclusion could be reached.

Unfortunately, that’s when things took a turn for the even worse.   Right as dear ol’ Hades managed to light his hair back up after Clyde swallowed it up, into the large hall burst a conglomeration of the villains’ worst nightmares:  heroes.  Not just any heroes, either.  No, these were the most heroic types of heroes, the super kind.  (Though there was a Great Dane and reporter as well, but nobody paid them any mind.)  They were led by a man dressed in blue, a man known only as Captain Planet.

“Never fear, citizens!  We are here to save you from these wrong-doers!  Please don’t get in our way, and you’ll be perfectly safe.â€

Night Five begins

DAY FOUR ENDS

More or less used to the chaos surrounding them by now, everyone just stood around and stared at each other, almost appearing bored. Captain Planet once again took control of the situation and demanded someone be punished for attempting to attack him with a bomb and flying bits of a person (never mind the fact that he used someone else as a shield; of course that person doesn't matter a bit). "Somebody must pay for this heinous act! Who will it be?"

One brave person shouted back, "Why not you? You haven't done a single thing this whole time except worry about yourself! Maybe you're the one committing all these crimes? KILL CAPTAIN PLANET!!"

...and in an unsurprisingly anti-climatic move, nobody rallied around that person. In fact, they all turned against him. How dare he speak against the fearless leader?

However, before any killing could commence, Captain Planet took matters into his own hands and pressed a giant red button which he had just pulled out of hammerspace - and metal bars fell down around Stopwatch, completely enclosing her.

Meanwhile, a shiny, red apple sitting innocently on a nearby table caught Yuriko's eye. Hungry, she grabbed it and took a huge bite - and the effects were immediate. It seemed as if something had completely taken over her brain and all she should hear was an odd noise... so she decided to follow it. And so it happened that Yurikochan (Nakamori; Captain Hook) left the convention mumbling, "What is that mysterious ticking noise....?" and leaving a note beside the rest of the apple she didn't take with her.

Two false investigations, Kaito Kid or Akemi must be enjoying their criminal sprees since they stole my darn car keys, or maybe that danged ol' crocodile ate them (again ;_; )...Talked to Conia and Kleene and poor Gaston, I think I'll give him a proper burial at sea...and maybe that croc won't eat me...I've already decided I'm not gonna run around pinching people. If I get any good information, that not be harmful to their roles, I'll place that in my will instead. Luckily, they will have to figure me out first...Oh and if someone happens to find a disguised role too. \o/ Cause getting Vermouth, Irish, and arresting KID and that actress is my life long dream.

Night 2
Maybe I should have tried to arrest (attack) one of them heroes...It would have been better than being tricked by a trickster running around. I hear another ticking clock...I'm hopefully working with another ally now. And hopefully they don't think ill of me, I was driving the ship earlier and couldn't respond, the Bob-omb <3 knew I wouldn't be around anyways...

The thief seemed to leave me alone tonight...Hopefully he doesn't run off with my boat...

Night 3: Two thieves made off with my pop gun, Disney wouldn't give me a real gun, which is why I never kill that Fairy Boy...Peter Pan, not the other fairy boy. I learned some info, so I won't be shocked if I'm dead. I know a lot, but I don't want to put it in my will. I would be careful and look into several people, I do trust Conia, I'm pinching someone this day, they deserve it. We have to get these darned heroes soon, good luck my evil loves.

All of a sudden, Blooper floated by and grabbed KainTheVampire (person-who-wasn't-active-enough), carried her over to the nearest window, and tossed her out.

Before Captain Planet could even find a way to make it out that Captain Hook leaving somehow greatly offended him, a newcomer appeared - a guy dressed in a purple jester outfit. He didn't say anything, just opened up a huge black vortex in the middle of the room, grabbed aly_angelflight (Matsumoto; Magneto), and threw her in... and nobody ever heard from her again.

After getting over his shock that someone would interrupt before he could even start what was sure to be a rousing speech about the importance of listening to his speeches, Captain Planet applauded this newcomer. After all, who would toss out a villain except a hero? This guy must be a hero! "Thank you for your contribution to society, mister... what was your name?"

The jester just laughed and evil laugh and disappeared inside the vortex himself, which then disappeared behind him. All that was left of the strange encounter was a piece of paper that had fallen out of Aly's pocket when she was thrown into what was probably another dimension.

So far, I have, with my random, haphazard arresting, determined that:
1. Breva is not Vermouth-Shinichi and did not kill Lynz.
2. Parkur did not kill Lynz.
3. Cheesus did not kill Lynz.
4. Stoppy did not kill Lynz.

I'm trying Schillok killed Lynz today, so if he's in jail, you probably don't have to bother looking for the N1 killer anymore. And if the CE/Investigators/SI'ers have tried everyone I haven't (I didn't include people who are out of the game for dying/inactivity, which most of my arrests so far have been...), Gin must've killed N1. "

I like that "you have to send in a PM even if you don't do actions or vote" thing! <3

The BO thing could be a problem.. maybe? :V Since for me, phase change will be 6am. So I'll probably be asleep 5-6hours before phasechange during the week.
Could you still let someone change your actions, even tho that would mean someone has 1 action from someone else already? :V
Because even if I'm active, I won't be able to do any last minute changes. D:
Anyway, I totally agree with the "one BO shouldn't send in all actions" thing \o/

But depending on the size of the game and who'll join, there could be more Europeans etc. that have the phase change at a bad time :V
So maybe letting them handle 2 persons (depending on how many BOs there are) or at least let some exceptions in? XD

Yeah it's not just you who would have a bad time, Kleene. Mine's at 3pm and I know for the next two weeks I have something like 8-5. I want to join but with that schedule, I don't know how active I'll be able to be. Put me down as a maybe?
