the doctor can indeed heal themselves. So, as long as they can avoid lynchings, they can be pretty immortal.

What about Agasa?  Can he give himself the bowtie and watch?

    * Araide, doctor
          o May choose one individual to heal. If this individual (and/or his protector) gets killed, he can heal him so that said individual will not die. Can heal himself. If he heals someone who gets attacked, everyone involved (except the BO man) will know that there was an attack and that is was healed (also Protectors).
    * Agasa, inventor
          o Bow-tie: As the inventor of the bow-tie, he can lend it to anyone for a night except for himself (the individual has to return it). Someone in possession of the bow-tie can act if he were Conan and can choose to interrogate or investigate.
          o Watch: He can also lend the bow-tie to anyone for one night except for himself (it has to be returned). Someone in possession of the Watch is protected from the BO as if he were protected by Ran or Makoto, but he needs to fire from the distance so he does not get to see the attacker's face and will therefore not learn his identity.

Signups are ending tonight (Sunday) at 11:59 EST, so get in quick if you want to (though I doubt theblind will make it, he hasn't been active since the 20th )
Prep phase will then last 24 hours, ending at Monday 11:59 EST
after that, 24 hour Day/Night phases.

the second game too, barely missed that as well.

Also, because prep phase is coming up, just a few clarifications on prep phase:
- Players active in the prep phase are "Hakuba", "Makoto", Vermouth, 1412, Yumi, "Eri", and Sonoko. The ones in quotes don't actually have anything to do in the prep phase, and won't be told their roles until the game's start, but they're counted as "active in the prep phase" because neither 1412 or Vermouth are allowed to disguise as them.
- In the event that Vermouth and 1412 are both in the same game, and they choose the same person to disguise as, they will both become disguised as that role. So if somebody role calls as Agasa, but you're Kid and you're disguised as Agasa too, you'll know who Vermouth is. Too bad though, because you wouldn't be able to tell anyone your reasoning (in the thread at least), or you'll be arrested. But I doubt that'll happen

          o Is a member of the BO and present at their meetings. She may also have a part in the decision whom to kill, and will be considered BO by the detectives (but not Matsuda). If she is asked to commit the killing, she may disobey.
          o Has another code name (so that the BO can't detect her by telling everyone to reveal the code name - in DC it wouldn't work).
          o May leave the organisation at any time to become a CIA agent (works like an FBI agent with Investigator 5).
          o May not tell anyone the identities of the other BO members.

Like, she knows who's the BO already, can become CIA and Investigate, but can't reveal who's BO? Or can Kir just "hint" it to the others?

also, another addendum to the notes about vermouth/kid disguising, because I realized there could even more be complications regarding BO disguises:
- if a vermouth or kid is in the game, during the prep phase they will be asked for a list of people they wish to disguise as, in descending order (as many as you want). The first person whose ability is stealable will be stolen, but you won't be told just whose disguise is stolen. This is to guarantee that, with the restrictions being put on BO disguises (and already-existing disguises), you're guaranteed to get a disguise of some sort.
- you cannot disguise as a member of the BO.

she is, but that rule is in there largely to say that she can't just pop up Day 1 of the game and go "derp derp these people are in the BO, I'm kir, lynch me if you want to believe me llooollolololo" and make the game totally boring. Basically, if there's a Kir in the game I would just have to trust them to honor the rule, although the whole "roles with secret info they're not allowed to share" is something I'm not a *huge* fan of, hence my removal of Matsuda from player control.

Well, I wouldn't know what to do when I would be Kir. Since I would know who's BO, can Investigate them (for whatever reason? Since I already know who's BO and investigating townspeople would be pointless too?) but can't reveal anything. I can only vote for the lynch.

Yeah, I hadn't put a whole lot of thought into the role at first (because I wasn't the one dealing with her last game ), so I didn't really think of how playing her would work out.
As for the disobey part, I wouldn't think her identity would be revealed, as to the other members of the BO it would seem like she tried to kill someone but just failed (sorta like when she killed Akai [or did she??/?/]).

but either way, I'm just gonna not have her in the role pool this round because I don't particularly like her anyway

I think Kir should be token out of the game and maybe be replaced with a sniper where they can only kill once every 2 nights and as they shoot from a distance the victim cant be saved by Ran or stopped by Agasa's watch.

you should check out the role list, snipers like that already exist
except it's not "every 2 nights", it's whenever they get to kill someone (which depends on the mafia taking turns killing people like they have to)
