What's the problem then? If the town managed good enough, they'll get the last BO eventually anyway. as if 1 or 2 more days is such a difference. In those 1-2 days, where you can see the game is about to end, the next GM can check if he'll have time to GM and what changes he'll maybe want to make etc.hopelessidiot wrote: But, think of it this way: if it's one BO against that many town, doesn't that mean the town has done very well in discovering the others and deserves the win? It'll likely only delay the inevitable. Last round, the town only had one mislynch and the killing ability made it so that it took longer than it should have to find Vermouth, despite knowing she was the one killing still.![]()
But if you're alone, after town and BO fought hard, then the last BO needs as much help as possible. At the end of the game, the town usually has some kind of alliance already. So it's even harder for the last BO.
And if the town doesn't have a alliance or any clue at the end, then IMO, the BO deserves the win D:
Also, why is Akai guarding snipers? XD Seriously, that name isn't better than bone-breaker :p Why don't you call it just "guard"? Or is there such a named ability already? O.o"
I don't like how satou has detention and arrest again

"All police, besides Uehara and Tome, have arrest" *looks at yamamura* .... ? XD
I don't think you need to nerf the killing actions so much. Or at all :x
Well, so much for wanting to do a special round :x Oh well, too late XD
I'll join. But if you make me a BO in your town-biased round, I'll disown you >:V

the term "X guard", where the X is the thing that the guard guards against, is pretty common usage, so it still makes sense that he's guarding against snipersKleene Onigiri wrote: Also, why is Akai guarding snipers? Again? Satou had both in my round and since I doubt Cheesus changed them, she probably had them in her round also :V

I know :p that's why there was the "XD" smiley added :p
Still, IMO "guard" is more than enough. No need to make the name longer than needed? And I guess people would abbreviate it into just "guard" anyway D:

Re: Mafia Round 27: Dead Men Tell No Tales
@Kleene: so "Bone Breaking" is better than "Sniper Guard" because it's shorter...? Oh wait, it isn't.
@Kain: please tell me you plan to actually play this round rather than just sign up
Otherwise, no matter what side we're both on, I might kill you myself.
I do wonder why people are gonna play if they have so much issues with the rule changes.

I said "Sniper Guard" isn't better than "Bone breaking". This doesn't mean that bone breaking is better than sniping guard :p
They can be equal too with that statement D:
But I think just "guard" is better than "Sniping guard" and "Bone breaking"

finding faults in something doesn't mean that you're against the thing as a whole :VPhoenixTears wrote: I do wonder why people are gonna play if they have so much issues with the rule changes.
And what's the issue with callin it snipe guard? Not like you have to use the full name all the time or something

As much as certain people have been complaining, they might as well be against it as a whole. :VAkonyl wrote: finding faults in something doesn't mean that you're against the thing as a whole :V

I'm not sure that complaining about suspensions/house search/travelers/last-BO killing abilities is anything close to the whole gamePhoenixTears wrote:As much as certain people have been complaining, they might as well be against it as a whole. :VAkonyl wrote: finding faults in something doesn't mean that you're against the thing as a whole :V
