Well, it seems like most people think it's OP'd anyway.

It might be a little more balanced if used in a round that had the town "white suitcase" idea that was tossed around a while back. Since it would "see through" both BS and WS.

Yes. Any day action + Voting would be affected too.

Passive abilities (disguises, betrayal, revenge, etc.)?

I would suggest it doesn't, although I can see some good tactics been used if it does (i.e. The BO knows who's Akai, so if someone of the BO has the bottle, they pass it to Akai and then lynch him since Revenge won't work). I want to hear more opinions over this

Should it work on children? (Can anyone imagine Mitsuhiko drunk? Or Ayumi-chan?)

It shouldn't. Kids aren't already affected by disguises/Lovers/BFF/etc, so they bottle would be added to this exceptions. Now, what if a child receives the bottle? they won't get drunk and will be able to pass it on next phase.

And how about teenagers? (Maybe Hakuba has less problems with drinking since I guess it is allowed at a lower age in England. On the other hand, Asami seems a bit younger than 17.)

It should affect teenagers. Heiji had a bottle of alcohol after all

Does injury have an impact?

If an injured player receives the bottle at night, that person will get drunk, not that it changes much since it can't use any abilities anyways, but if that player receives it during Day, it won't be able to vote.

will the target know it will be unable to do anything? What if it is the only BO left that can still kill, does the BO have to forfeit their kill? Would bribe make it go through? What about quickshot?

Yes, the one who receives the bottle will be notified by the GM that he can't do anything that phase except passing the bottle to someone that person picks. If no name is sent, the players keep the bottle for another phase and is again unable to do anything. This process is repeated till the players passes up the bottle, although a limit could be fixed, taking into account inactive players
If it is the last BO, it would have to forfeit. However, I was thinking of setting a limit of phases till "the bottle is emptied" depending on the numbers of players. Something like... number of players divided 3 and result shall be the Day # the bottle will last. For example, if there's 15 players: 15/3=5, bottle will last till Day 5.

Would be fun if that "bottle" appears once a thief steals alcohol XD

Or maybe when Kogoro becomes sober?

I liked both ideas and was thinking something similar

I was also thinking that if a thief tries to steal from the one that is in possession of the bottle, the thief will steal the bottle instead of an item and get drunk. This wouldn't apply to the Peek Killing Action, though.

Haven't decided yet over travelers ... I guess, since every action done over them fails, passing the bottle fails too, leaving the current owner of it another phase drunk.
Also, if a traveler is in Japan, decides to fly away and on the next phase he receives the bottle, he would be drunk and unable to fly. Even more, he could be arrested for trying to board a plane while drunk

How would it work? In the case of travelers, there would be an auto-arrest... if a child receives the bottle, it is an auto-arrest too?

Hmm... How about this?

Spoiler:

There are two crimes involving bottles. Both investigate as "User commits an alcohol crime". The person who commits the crime will be auto-arrested if a police officer catches them. (Underage travelers who go to the airport with the bottle will be considered caught in the act since they have to go through airport security.)

1. Underage Drinking: This is for minors who are caught in possession of the bottle.
2. Underage Serving: This a crime for any adult who passes the bottle to a minor.

Making this crime a temporary arrest would probably make it more likely to be investigated by a townie, though, considering anyone can commit these crimes.

Well, for a start, I wasn't planning to make it investigable but I like the idea of Drinking and Serving. Problem with arresting for having/passing the bottle, is that townies wouldn't risk arresting someone because of the bottle, while the BO, if they can, would always try to arrest townies since they know their teammates and therefore wouldn't have to risk it.
