Actually it is. Does only require one person to do this. With 2 persons it becomes even easier.

So while it is hard to do, it is definitely possible.
Also, Stopwatch contacting (almost) everyone only adds to the suspicion in my opinion. It is the best lead we have, I doubt there will be any better results anytime soon.

Seriously, arresting Stopwatch wouldn't help us at all - if he is Vermouth we will never have the confirmation that we got rid of her, and if not... what good is a townie in jail that no one can trust?  

1) But don't you get it? If I'm arrested for both the disguising and the stealing it would be impossible for me to be Vermouth wouldn't it? Which means I would be a Townie in jail, true, but I couldn't be killed and I would be trusted because I could only be Kid which is a lot better than me being lynched IMO.
2) How does trying to ally everyone add suspicion to me? I don't really understand how that would work as trying to ally so many would have them all investigating me and stuff, right?

You could have had that action blamed on you, it has happened before Vermouth being blamed for stealing in order to pass up as KID.

...I thought that you could only get blamed for the killing happening that phase...
And @DT: Just 'cause I want to wait 'til you're proven before telling you what I stole from Kain doesn't automatically make me BO.
@EveryoneElse: Was I interrogated as BO? Someone claimed I was, but that wouldn't fit with Parkur accusing me as being Vermouth. Well, if I was, I was probably slandered, I wasn't exactly subtle with trying to make alliances so I would be an obvious target...

Same here. I'm not sure if I was tricked or my action just failed for any other reason. I was definitely tricked.

*prepares will* Y'know, after this round I might take a break from Mafia, being stuck with utterly undefendable roles is no fun, well apart from that time I was Bourbon, but it was 3am or something then so I was...slightly out of it at the time. Also, I'm going for a random attempt at who killed breva, sorry Kain, but your item was a bit suspicious so you're my arrest attempt.
I see no reason why a BO would try to claim a Townie as Vermouth so Parkur might be Town, I'm, I don't know, about 60% sure of this ('cause with Vermouth it's a lot easier to get her mixed up with Kid or simply not want to take the risk, which is something a BO could pretend happened).

EDIT: Last Attempt: I'm really just repeating a point here, but it's a valid one IMO, so I'll say it again. Why would I try to ally everyone if I were BO? For one thing, Parkur's saying I'm Vermouth which would mean I'd probably follow Anokata's lead and just generally try not to bring any attention to myself. If you look in past rounds you'd see that when I'm Town I generally seek alliances and when I'm BO I don't, 'cause I'm rubbish at lying...

Mainly, it's technically not evidence, but what the other people are saying make sense...so...

EDIT: Because I rarely see public defenses, and when I make one myself, it's typically 300 words long at most, and is drowned out by xpon's "he's BO!"

Well, Parkur seems to have some evidence I'm disguised and what Conia says makes sense (btw I had no idea you could blame for stealing until I reread it just recently, but that does seem possible. And if I'm killed in jail then that uses up the Bribe so the BO can't use it later when they may need it). Though how DT can say he still thinks I'm BO after pretending he was Matsumoto and saying I was interrogated as BO (among various other attempts to trick me into 'admitting I'm BO') I really don't know. *throws a pig at him*
