Three friends - A, B and C - are chess maniacs. One day, they played seven times - and they all ended with the same number of wins and loses. Weird thing? There were no draws. How is that possible?

The only thing I can come up with is this, though it doesn't sounds right (so I'm probably wrong again)

They played seven times, but with a different player

A played 7 times with B and won every time.
B played 7 times with C and won every time.
C played 7 times with A and won every time.

So everyone has 7 wins and 7 loses.
