I have no knack for making riddles, so here's another one that's probably too easy.

12 equals 6, which equals 3, which equals 5, which equals 4, which also equals 4; so 4 is the last number.
Edit: 25 equals 10, which equals 3, which equals 5, which equals 4, which also equals 4; so 4 is the last number.

No matter what number you start with, you will always reach the conclusion 4.

How do you go from one number to the next?

It wasn't really difficult, though it took me a while to make all the diagrams. I might've missed one though, but I don't think so.

I am going to attempt to write a decent puzzle, although it will probably take a little while.
NOTE: The puzzle is not yet completed, I will finish it at a later time. You are free to look at what's done however, as it does not yet hold enough information in order to solve the answer. Heck, it doesn't even have the question yet :P. The numbers might even change as I try to complete the puzzle.

Long, long ago thrived an ancient kingdom. Ruling this kingdom was a king nearing his time, yet he did not have an heir as he was unable to have children. In order to choose his next heir, the king decided to have a contest between his 5 most loyal knights. The knights were Wallace, the wisest, Samson, the strongest, Barclay, the bravest,  Floyd, the fastest, and Keaton, the kindest. The contest would be a free for all battle royale between the 5. All the knights knew both Samson and Floyd would be at an advantage being the strongest and fastest, respectively, yet strangely none complained. The contest would take place the next day at 6:00 in the morning. Now, although the knights were all very loyal to the king, they certainly did not hold this feeling towards each other. Some could say they even had a certain animosity between one another. Yes, as you might have guessed, this animosity led to them concocting plans to dispose of each other the night before the contest in order to be the next king.

Being the 5 most loyal knights, they obviously had their own separate dwelling quarters (I will now name their quarters according to the first letter of their name along with a capital q). WQ was dead center of the castle, SQ was 30 miles east of WQ, and BQ was 40 miles south of SQ. FQ was 30 miles west of WQ, and KQ was 20 miles south of FQ. Each knight is able to run directly from their own quarter to any other quarter without anything to block their path, with the exception of Floyd to Samson or Samson to Floyd, as they will have to pass through Wallace.

All the knights are able to run at a whopping 10 miles/hour constantly without needing rest, except for Floyd who is able to run at 15 miles/hour constantly.

It is now 10:00 P.M., and the kingdom is veiled by the darkness of the night.

Samson, being the strongest, arrogantly believes that he will win the contest tomorrow and decides that he will just go to sleep.
Keaton, being the kindest, does not have the mindset to dispose of the others and just goes to sleep in order to conserve his energy for the coming day.

The puzzle is taking unexpectedly much longer to complete, so in order to not let this thread die I'll post a riddle and save my own until I finish it so it'll be worthy of your time :P.
