Oh no ya don't. Poll stays open until the Ai fans return from the winter excursion.

I think the real Ai fans wouldn't want to try and pair her up with anyone, as that isn't what Ai wants.  Also, Ai approves of Shinichi and Ran's relationship.

I don't really care what is canon, it doesn't mean it's creative or a good idea for a romance...

But whatever. I still love AixConan. It keeps me interested and entertained. And one voice makes a difference in that. The fact that 22 or more people even think differently is a problem and a statement in itself. It's natural for people to choose the canon. It's unnatural to choose the opposite...it's normal, but not natural.

So when they do choose the opposite, there is SOMETHING wrong with the romance in the eyes of some of the public. The people who like Ran and Shinichi are people who are often long-time fans and just feel sorry for Ran, or haven't seen many other anime romances different from DC, and think it is sweet. Or maybe they just don't get annoyed that easily. Ran and Shinichi is only entertaining only because people are still waiting for a confession...like they have been waiting for 12 or more years....

Most people who like AiConan are either people who came in during the Ai era or was bored with Shinichi/Ran, and found Ai/Conan more entertaining. People like me, get annoyed with routine crying and near-confessions, but no results for 12 years.

When you see polls like this for Cardcaptor Sakura, 100% like Sakura and Syaoran together and that is no joke.

But with Ran/Shinichi, it is not 100%, which makes a difference. I imagine, if DC lingers as it does, the same people who like Ran/Shinichi will eventually get bored with it, and will come to our side.

Oh, Canon is what actually happens in the storyline right? Anything in the episodes are Canon?
Well, I think everyone has the right to their opinion.

And if Ran died, I would want Conan with either Ai or Ayumi.
But Ran+Shinichi is definitely #1 in my "relationships" list.

Not exactly. Most of us just detox, rediscover DC, then go back to ShinRan.
