Yes.
I said that it is "implied" that means it doesn't have to bwe true. I was referring to the scene where he tells Satou that dead beloved ones live on within our memory. He kind of seemed to talk out of experience

not an in inflexible list of course, but the top 4 are pretty clearly defined for me*, after that i admit my preferences shift a lot depending on the occasion.

*the character of conan is certainly the most 'impressive' in a sense, but in personal preference terms i can't not have kogorou #1.

Ran is in your list? All credibility lost.  Didn't know bimbos who only know how to cook and cry were top notch characters
