Anime Recommendation Thread

[ maybe you could recommend me some anime that the story line goes,.. uhmm.. like:

~prince of tennis [a sporty-type of anime w/ no love stories at all.. i would really love those..]

There's little side love story in there so I'll recommend other Sports anime series with little side love stories also like
(1) Hajime no Ippo (Fighting Spirit / Knock out), including New Challenger
(2) Eyeshield21 - the closest comparable series to PoT in terms of players and school rivalries
(3) Slam Dunk - the supposed to be love triangle is actually a funny part of the story
(4) Major - if you're more concerned with a solid plot for a sports anime, this is a must watch

haha.. i know i have a lot to beg out from you., so please help me.. its summer here on philippines so i don't have my classes and i'm just waiting for conan releases and i can't get to watch other anime.. im getting bored.. 

So you're from the Philippines. You might have encountered those recommendations on Philippine TV one way or another (GMA7 and Hero)

Ouran High School Host Club is a great choice for you since it has comedy and cool and good-looking guys. The main girl, Fujioka Haruhi is awesome.

Some general suggestions: Death Note, Otome Youkai Zakuro, Angel Beats!, Fractale, GOSICK, and Hakushaku to Yousei. I also recommend the previous mentioned Slam Dunk.

I would also suggest Ghost Hunt (but it can be scary at times) and Claymore (some bloodshed at times) so yeah.

Angel Beats! made me cry too!!

I also recommend Skip Beat! as well. Have watched Vampire Knight and Guilty (liked it at first but not anymore). Toradora was meh for me (please don't take this as offensive). I haven't watched Code Geass but I've heard many praises about it.

I've actually watched Itazura na Kiss. It's pretty good except the fact that the girl gets really annoying as the story progress. It's addicting though, I must say even though I wasn't really into any of the characters.

I'm not that easily offended, so don't worry.

Code Geass is really nice, a lot of people even say that it is similar to Death Note in its own way.

I want to try watching Itazura na Kiss but I can't seam to find a CD of it .

I agree with the former, but the latter is more on the fanservice business than comedy imo.
