I don't know. I've been enjoying the new games less since G/S/C (remakes don't count)- I really didn't like D/P/Pt at all. I don't know, I just didn't have as much fun playing them. I'll probably get Black or White, just because, but I'm not having high expectations for it. I just think they should have stopped while it was still good; It's all getting a bit over-the-top now. I mean, 151 Pokemon was a tough job. 251 was a real challenge, but it's doable. 490 is a challenge that I've only nearly completed thanks to trading with a friend whom I supect uses a cheat cartridge. There'll be in the region of 600 Pokemon in the new game; who else thinks that sounds just ridiculous?

They aren't 3D.  They're pseudo 3D.  It's technically just a DS(i) game, not a 3DS game.

Though I agree so far, they aren't looking that amazing.  The Pokemon they've shown have been bleh or meh at best, the characters look awful, and I hate that pseudo 3D effect they're using in the cities.

I agree entirely. WTF IS WITH THAT GIRL'S HAIR? And Pokemon should never, ever be turned into a pseudo 3D game. It lost the Pokemon feel. D:

Frankly, I lost the Pokemon feel halfway through Diamond. I'll buy it just because, but HeartGold might be the last one I complete.

By dint of over 300 hours of work and a LOT of wifi trading and trading with my now largely-unplayed Diamond card, I have a pokedex of 480. I AM SO CLOSE. I will trade pretty much anything for those four; everything else that I need i'm just waiting on the Safari Zone for.

I know how to get it. It's just that, for obvious reasons, I can't evolve it in HeartGold, and unfortunately my little cousin recently deleted my Diamond game, and I enjoyed that game so little that I just can't bring myself to play through it again far enough to get to Mt Coronet. For some reason, I can't search for it on the Worldwide trading thing, so I really can only get it through personal trading.
