We already know someone is going to intervene or something and save Itachi or Sasuke group is going to catch up finally.

I don't care about sasuke's fight. I care more about naruto's(and gang) fight with Tobi. Maybe we will find out who he really is. Also What he looks like with out the mask.

They've all but said that Tobi is Uchiha Madara.

that's true. Before that revelation by itachi, I thought it was going to be Obito (mainly because he only has one visible sharingan)

I know itachi said Uchiha Madara formed the akatsuki. They never really said that he was Tobi. And Tobi refered to his powers as Uchiha Madara's powers. Never said he was Uchiha Madara.

Excellent points. I'm kind of curious as to who Pain is, myself. I thought that was a great arc as well.

how come he never asked who his parents were?

I'm sure he did, and whoever he asked just said "brave shinobi who fell in battle against the Kyuubi".  This would technically be true for his father at least (his mother likely died while giving birth is my theory).

I gave this a lot of thought I can only think tobi could be one of two people. Uchiha Madara or Uchiha Obito or both. i say this beacuse Itachi said that there were three survivors of the Uchiha clan and they were Uchiha Madara, himself and Sasuke. That only means that Tobi can only be Madara but there is the kakashi gaiden where there is another Uchiha mention and that is obito. There has to be reason  why the kakashi gaiden was introduce.

The Kakashi Gaiden was to show how he got his Sharingan, though it could always have future importance beyond that.  Also remember, the Gaiden was a good 10+ years before the Uchiha clan was mass murdered.

Lol... for those that don't know, Tobi took off his mask in the new chapter, and is planning on telling Sasuke the truth about Uchiha Itachi in the next chapter!
