And yeah.. Kyouko x Sayaka was confirmed in the movie pretty much... Kyouko is my second favorite, so it was nice to see some Kyo-Homu bro action again.

Also , I was reading some interview with the Madoka staff for movie 3..Urobuchi seemed really salty during his interview.

Yeah, I went last Friday. And I gotta say, despite being pro Kyoko/Sayaka, Sayaka was my least favorite from the series. She rose to my #2 slot from this movie (combined with the Different Story manga, which showcased her actually evolving her abilities and making her almost like a Paladin in terms of abilities). I guess that's the difference between being a fall-guy and being confident and competent, huh?

And of course Urobuchi was salty. SHAFT (not sure if just Shinbo or the company as a whole) forced him to change the ending. He wanted to have a happy ending that resolved everything, SHAFT wanted the ability to milk the franchise more. Granted, he could've just said no, we're sticking with mine, so it's not like he was 100% against it, but he clearly didn't want to go with the ending they went with.

By shikishi, I assume you mean the signboards? I originally pulled Mami, but got in line after getting dinner. The two girls in front of me somehow had gotten three boards between them (even they weren't quite sure how that happened), and two of the three were Kyoko/Sayaka. Luckily, her favorite was Mami, so she was more than willing to do the trade.

It was fun too, since I had watched the camrip a few weeks beforehand. Was talking to the guy sitting next to me before the movie, and before it started warned him that the first 40 minutes or so were a total acid trip.

Bluray's coming out soon, I dunno if I'm willing to part with the cash to buy it though.

I usually order all my anime from rightstuf, but had to go with Animate USA for this one. Their pre-order bonus was vastly superior on every count than any other English site.
