That, dear sir, would be awesome.

So, it seems not even Dragon Force is able to stop Fairy Tail  :/ And I would also love to see what Akonyl said.

On the other hand, it would surely be off screen again D:
Damnit, Mashima; There are Gajeel-fans out there!!

But we might see it in the anime then...

if it actually does happen, I dunno why it'd be offscreen, since it'd be pretty tied in to the rest of the plot if he arrives in their headquarters :P

unless he just mysteriously pops up during a fight and they're like "how the hell did you get here, Gajeel?"

This.
IMO this chapter is pretty dull and boring, the only thing worth noting is Jellal sensing Zeref's presence, and even that was predicted long ago.

you'd have to refresh my memory on what exactly you're referrin to in that arc, because yeah I don't remember a whole lot about what actually went on there.

I think Borealis is referring to the fact that Gajeel had some stuff happening out of screen during the Edolas arc. (watched the anime and didn't read that arc in the manga so I could be wrong)

In the manga, different from the anime, we first see Gajeel (since the disaster with the cats back "home") when he is brought to the floating lacrima and he battles Phanterlily. We don't see how he got to that world, nor what he did, including rescuing Erza and Gray.
To quote TVTropes:
Offscreen Moment of Awesome
In the Edolas arc, Gajeel, despite being a Dragon Slayer, didn't show up with Natsu and Wendy in Edolas for some reason. Must be because he is waiting to pull a Big Damn Heroes moment, right? Right, and he pulls a really big one, probably turning the tide of the whole Edolas saga... and all of it happens off-screen. Fortunately, the anime pulled an Adaptation Expansion and included an entire sub-plot covering Gajeel's actions.

Since not much happened in that chapter; Who do you think that crying person was?

The girl's clothing reminds me of the girl who is with Ultear, but that's not possible nor logical. Maybe she isn't anyone we know, maybe she has a relation with Zeref and she is the "zeref prescence" Jellal and the others are sensing; and that's why she knows Natsu, because of her relation with Zeref. (remember Zeref in some way knows Natsu)

Akonyl was partly right. Gajeel did find something.

The bit about Yukino felt a bit weird to me.

Anywho, it seems like shit's going to happen, and after so much time, someone might really die. However, regarding the identity of the the cloaked figure, here's a crack theory that I hope WON'T happen:
If we go from the standpoint that it's someone we're supposed to know, since Jellal knows her, it decreases the amount of options we have. Now, that person (I assume it's a woman based on the last file) cried during the match while seeing Natsu fight. So my crack theory is as follows: The cloaked figure it a Fairy Tail member......from the future! (dun dun dunnnnnnn :o). Here's the possible reasoning to this nonsense. If a catastrophe will happen near the end of the tournament, and many people died, then one member took it upon herself to travel back to the past and prevent the catastrophe from happening, or at least try saving the members who died.

Regardless, I really hope we'll get to know her identity next file, and it isn't going to drag.

Much happened. So the girl cloaked figure really was the prescence Jellal was sensing. The hell with Levy's scene, a flashforward of the future? And then, there's the matter of the dragons ... (maybe the disaster that would happen is the revival of dragons?)

I guess there's nothing to do with the plot, but what the hell with the first page, the naked woman. Erza? (because of the armors)

someone on another forum I go to basically said the same thing, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's the case. If it is, my bets are going on Levy right now, unless it's Lucy who was thought to be dead (Levy said that, right?) but instead got pushed back in time somehow.

and yeah, I'll call myself correct on the Gajeel situation, close enough :P And it could still turn out to be part of the evil peoples' base, if they're using an unholy ritual, a graveyard seems like a pretty good resource :V

While I'm not going to be surprised either, I just don't often find time traveling plots to be lazy and the result of lack of ideas (at least in series that time traveling isn't a main thing in them). Besides, we might finally get some deaths (of good characters) in this series, but if there's a time traveling plot, then it's more than likely that no one's really going to die.
