I've honestly only just realised there's no topic for this already so I decided to put one up. This is for the original version *not* the US one (because I've only really watched an episode or two of it) so if you want to talk about that I guess make another thread. They're not really related enough from what I know to justify sharing a thread (correct me if I'm wrong on that though?).
Anyway, back on topic... let's see, favourite episodes? Probably the Botswana one, though the amphibious cars and caravan episodes are also up there.

Re: Top Gear
Where to start... I really don't know. There are so many amazing episodes. It really is a modern classic--the very definition.
I remember all of the travel specials fondly. The season premiere last week was incredibly strong, too. I need to get to watching this week's in a bit.
I'll come post more in here soon.
(For U.S. residents that have Netflix, the entire series is on there. Save yourself and start watching now. Also, turn on BBC America. Doesn't matter when. It's probably on.)

Re: Top Gear
My favourite special will always be the one with the challenge to decorate each others' trucks and then drive across Alabama, because they genuinely had to abandon the challenge en masse because they were being shot at (and who doesn't like to see Jeremy Clarkson being shot at?) The Star In A Reasonably Priced Car segments are generally good, too. They get some good interviews in.

Re: Top Gear
I enjoyed their trip to Japan.
And there was one episode where they went to a country and wrote insults on their cars. (like country music sucks, if I remember corectly)
It was really fun, they got chased by some guys at a gas station.

I also liked the one where Hammond tried to prove that a bike was the fastest way to get through London traffic and his hatefest with the buses XD

Uh, I must've missed the one with London traffic

Maybe I should find them online.
I only watched them on TV until now.

Re: Top Gear
Whenabouts do the eps get released outside of the UK? I'd rather know in terms of spoiler tagging and such.
