I am currently fighting with the HTML-Setup but this looks promising.

[spoiler]Yes this is a B'z Wiki lyrics plugin for Amarok - I was sick and tired of not all Lyrics showing up - this is a heavy work in progress ATM but it will sool be usable (even for Windows Users)


I am currently converting the HTML sites to XML on my server (a really creepy workaround) - maybe this can be done otherwise. I will have to see that most non Kanji Songs are working. Kanji is a totally different matter because I would be to transcripe those into romanji to get them working (of course I have something up my sleeve for that).[/spoiler]

Got most of the non Kanji working - some titles are really tricky, plus Amarok needs to wait a bit before it can display the file

Okay I am nearly to the point where transcribing Kanji becomes an option.
The consistency of the Wiki-Entries is rather interesting
Maybe I will go through the hassel and put some more divs with a class in there if that is okay

Okay - this is what I currently got:
Works with most is the romanji titles
I had to turn the whole thing around and grab the xmls directy from the wiki and transform the important parts into HTML to display within Amarok (earlier I grabbed the HTML and converted to XML)

I thought I could get the pictures to show up - Nope they don't (not yet).
But I with that I was able to keep the formatting pretty clean

As you can see there is a still a lot to do.
But it shows the exact contents of the Wiki now (I am happy with that).
Next stop "pictures"
The html contains the full path to the wiki - I am not sure if that is even safe ( I don't want to expose the Wiki to any danger - therefore Jd- we should talk about that in some PMs later - but first it has to work).

A downside to this quite interesting course in Amarok scripting - the other lyric plugins sometimes overwrites my output XD
Plus I can't show the images from the lyric page, I will hack another tool for that - where there will be a complete B'z Wiki integration for Amarok (look forward to that).
I will take some time but I will keep you posted.

I am pleased to accounce that the lyrics script is now finally capable of displaying all B'z Songs from the B'z Wiki.
It was just a matter of mapping and now it can display all Kanji Songs. Even if the B'z wiki changes its layout it should still function.

I will now start working in the full B'z wiki integration for Amarok

Your Meta-Information on the Files have to be correct otherwise there won't be a match with a lyric.
Yeah I could do workarounds for that but ... nah I won't

Your System has to be completely Unicode compatible to work with this script.
Now an Error is displayed if the lyrics are not found. Use this as an indicator that your files metainfos are incorrect
It will take some time but over time you need to edit the title to the one from B'z wiki and you will be fine.

Update 3:
I found another issue. My script doesn't work with redirections from the Server - I will need to fix that first before I can integrate the B'z Wiki.

I am revisting some older B'z tracks (well that list above made me curious) and by now I kinda understand why they are there
Crazy Rendezvous - that track was always in my playlist but I never actually listened to it.
You know listening to music while working is something totally different than really listening to music.
All those fine techniques and feels get lost. Once again I realize who great this band actually is!

Some stuff in my collection is really really bad quality - I need to fix that!
One B'z per month maybe I want to have the full collection in my cupboard (neatly lined up)

That's an amazing list of fan request songs. Even after all these years, fans are still requesting the infamous STARDUST TRAIN. I'd love to hear this song on the set list, it hasn't been performed since its brief appearance in Pleasure '91. I didn't know HEAT was that popular! YOU & I and Akai Kawa were also tracks I wanted in my imaginary 2015 setlist. I hope most of these songs appear! It's definitely a good change from the usual staples like ZERO, BLOWIN' or Dangan.

You know what would make a good pair of songs? Shoudou and GO FOR IT, BABY (the end of Shoudou with the lyrics "Go for it" can merge into the next song).

@Kogorou: "Crazy Rendezvous" is indeed a great-great-great song that definitely deserves to be highlighted on one of the live DVDs. One especially nice aspect that appeals to fans is that when B'z have performed it live, they change the location in "Yokohama da yo koko wa"/"We're in Yokohama now" to wherever the show's begin held. This can be seen briefly during the Magical Backstage Tour documentary for those that've checked that one out (at around 34 minutes, 30 seconds in).

@CD: Great idea with that pairing. Koshi seems like he really likes playing "Shoudou"--it's a great crowd-pleaser in and of itself.
