Hmm, waterbender? Well, I hope she's as badass as Katara is in the later episodes. I'll still really miss the old cast, I think.

It'll never be the same. Just like in Left4Dead and Left4Dead 2. Pfft, I liked playing as that old grumpster Bill.
Well, some of the class will still be there. Wiki says that Dante Basco (the guy who plays Zuko) will voice a character, as well the guy who voiced Appa and Momo will be voicing characters. (Though, they will be animals.)

Oh, and here's a promotional pic:

Personally, I think that it looks like she has too many muscles.

While I am excited for the series, I wish it was a series continuing from the original with Aang, Sokka, Toph, etc. Besides that Zuko was the main character, and he went on a journey searching for his mother.

Iroh is also my favorite. He's laid back, hidden bad ass lol.

I didn't watch the live action movie and I never will. I heard it was pretty horrendous. And I cannot get past how the Avatar looks like he has a baby's head attached to his body. :O

She does look rather...muscular. Maybe because it's the action shot. Maybe her "normal" not hiyah-I'm-going-to-kick-ass look will be softened.

I wonder what the plot will be.

Here is what me and my friends thought of The Last Airbender Movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qA7r1_va1_I

(No really, me and my friends collectively recreated that scene while leaving the theater)

I'm so excited!!!!!  I just hope they don't try to copy the old characters....
Oh, and Aang can't be in this.  A new avatar is born the same week the old one dies.

Oh, I had forgotten how awful that movie was.  I think that Jackson Rathbone and Dev Patel would have been just fine, if their lines hadn't been so darn terrible.  I mean, really!

I don't see the problem with her being physically fit (I'm not sure I'd call her "muscular", maybe "athletic"? :P), being that she's supposed to be the savior of the world and all that. It'll be a nice change to see a main character who has their stuff together rather than a slightly reluctant hero like Aang (which seems to pop up in a lot of fiction).

As for the old cast not being in, yeah it's a little sad, but there can't be a new Avatar until Aang's dead, so not much of a choice, unless you want Aang murdered. :P

Oh, I don't mind that she's athletic/'muscular'. I figure she's just badass. But it is a bit of a departure from what I'm used to; she looks so much like Katara in my opinion and so, I sort of expected Korra to look more like (her grandma/mother??? :P) body wise.

Like Avatar Roku? (It'd be weird to see Aang an old man, though I don't know how weird, since he'd probably still not have hair lol)

I'm doubting she's related to Katara at all, because she looks for Aang/Katara's son in the series, so unless one of their children got lost somewhere that's doubtful imo. :P

And if she is, her body doesn't have a whole lot to do with her parents imo, as it would majorly be a difference between Korra being a fighter and Katara being a normal person until the year or so the series takes place in.
