I think Night Watch, done right, could be fantastic on film. Thief of Time could be cool too.

Good for you ;D Which is your favourite? Mine is and always will be Night Watch, though I did love Snuff.

Aw, congrats. :3

Mine is Night Watch as well, with Thud probably being in second place.

I have only had time to read Guards! Guards!, Mean at Arms and Snuff so far. (I only got most of them two days ago) Therefore I can't really say which one I like best.
But I already know that I do NOT want to be Carrot's enemy.

No, you really don't ;D

And taking that pretty blonde lady Watchman is also a bad idea. She does not do Damsel in Distress tropes.

Sorry for doublepost.

My little theory to Jingo:
Spoiler:
The other timeline happened because the other Vimes didn't act like Sam Vimes would have reacted. Think about it, that one Guy knew that he would follow him after just having met him some days ago. Pretty much everyone else who knew him would also have thought that he would run after him and would have made their plans according to that. However, in the alternate timeline he did not do exactly that.

Spoiler:
Horrible as it is, the scene in Jingo where the dis-organizer lists off the alternate deaths also cements what a badass Vimes is. He's the last one that the enemy troops manage to kill, after a werewolf, a troll, and Captain Carrot. Vimes is harder than all of them put together.

As if it wasn't proof enough that he was badass when he arrested two armies for conspiracy to cause breach of the peace.
