You know, this would actually be sort of fun for a game.

There's a poll just like this one, but only one person can vote "culprit" (this one person has to comment). From all the people commenting, the detectives have to guess who's lying on what they picked (and someone can lie at picking detective too, oh my!)

Wait, serious questions: Who has the strongest alibi, who has the weakest alibi, and who is being mean to everyone else and possibly hinting at someone's involvement in a past indiscretion of some sort (most likely the untimely demise of a friend of the group, but may also involve crimes such as embezzlement or inheritance fraud)?

But there's four of them.  Therefore, one is the culprit, but one will also become a victim.

I have never been involved in any murder cases, and I doubt I would even if it was the DC universe, so I'll go with classmate of Ran
