i think i had three tests and a quiz at one point in high school, but that doesn't quite count. finals there could be a three a day, so that is the number for me.

college means three hour exams, rather than 1.5, so it's tougher to get in that many; i have taken 4 in the last 2 days though.

Really, the only time I've had to take two exams in the same day was senior year when my AP Chemistry and AP Psychology exams were back-to-back. I've only had one exam per day otherwise.

Depends a bit on how you define "exam". With the stricter definition (~15 exams per year, all announced in advance), only 1, more is forbidden. In fact, more than two per week is also forbidden, IIRC. If you count the non-announced as well (~40 exams per year), it's 2. Any more is still forbidden.

During school, I had 2 or 3 tests in one day I think.

Hour wise, 4hours was the longest I had so far (and still not enough time XD)

If you count the two halves of the Math and English exams as separate exams, then two. My course doesn't really have sit-down exams, just essays and performances that take up the whole day, and in high school I never had two separate exams on the same day because the Scottish Standard Grade and Higher exam schedules are specifically planned to minimize the chances of people even having exams two days in a row. (That happened to me once and it was a nightmare trying to study for History and Computing at the same time.)
