What's your source for this, by the way? Posting article links with this kind of info is a good idea because it keeps it legit.

Still waiting for that link.

Not saying Latino Review is right or wrong, but he has zero credible sources.  It's basically "I followed some dude to Marvel and found the plot!"

So, let's not post things that aren't directly from a reliable source, shall we?

These are rumours. But bleedingcool also believes it, and they have a track record in predicting stuff YEARS before it comes.

Still doesn't count as a reliable source. It's not officially confirmed or even suggested.

The extended look was pretty epic.
I hope the spoiler is false. :P That whole arc, event, whatever was such a tank; do we need to waste three or four years of movies on it?

Edit: Though I get that not having the rights to X-men makes it impossible for them to do a lot of the recent Avengers stories...
They could always, you know, not do recent stories?  Most people only remember recent story for "shock value" or for negative aspects.  It's the classics and off-shoots that stick in everyone's minds, which is also why they use them as the basis for early movies.

And, y'know, they could always decide to branch this universe off and do something entirely original. That could be pretty cool too.

Nope. I think they should stick with this batch for a decade before switching actors/characters.

Meh.  I'll still see Guardians, if nothing else for RDJ, but it certainly isn't anything to get hyped for.  Bunch of no name heroes, which Marvel even acknowledged by putting Iron Man in to entice viewers.
