If I was in Israel, my answer would be yes. But here, being jokingly called Jesus by my friends every once in a while can hardly be considered as an actual nickname.

I don't know if it counts, but sometimes people are too lazy to say the last syllable of my name.

I didn't use to have one but I got one a few years ago, basically they've just changed the last syllable to "us" but that's fine Not that it is used all that much, normally people just refer to me by my real name.

Most my friend call my Kain or Kitten (Kitten was just in high school though Simon was called Cat Fish XD)  in Lestat's case it's either Kain or Squalo

But I don't have one based on my name since it's just 5 letters ... ... .... Most people think my real name is a nickname though

shortening from two to one is heinously lazy. i don't mind shortening because my name has three syllables and it happens quite often when people who don't know me well are saying it along with my last name (which is also long).
