Two and three. I supported the Occupy Wall Street Movement in Nashville not only because of it being in my area but because it was a strictly peaceful movement. Well, actually, the protesters were but not the police. I was in favor of the same movement in other areas except for the ones where it was basically an excuse for "protesters" to loot and vandalize local businesses and to be violent.

Protests are good, if they have concrete goal(s) that accompany it. I don't like the Occupy movement because it didn't have those kinds of goals. Calling for change, but not knowing what the exact thing to change is OR something that can be quickly done so that the goal can be achieved is not going to be much help to anyone. You don't hear environmentalist simply shout that our world's going to end because of our way of living, so we got to stop living.

Protests I approve of. It's a very powerful way of communicating what people want. Riots, not so much.
