Anime/Manga Research Project

I'm doing a project for school about why different people enjoy different types of fiction, whether it be books, movies, etc. For my research, I'd like to ask you all, the Detective Conan fans, or anime & manga fans in general, to help me answer a simple question.

The question is this: What is the average ethnicity/race or a Japanese anime and/or manga fan that doesn't live in Japan? If you wish to help me, all I ask is that you clearly describe your ethnicity, such as 'Korean American', 'Filipino', etc. in your response. Your responses will help me in my research a lot, so please don't screw this up. 

Thank you in advance for helping me with this and NOT derailing this topic by posting bullcrap.

Oh, and I probably shouldn't need to say this, but please, no racism. We don't need uncivilized behavior.

same as Commi, but replace Italian with Scottish. Though it's not like it matters, it's not like it affects me beyond being able to say "Look I'm Scottish!" and giving me an excuse to wear a kilt.

Born in Poland, living in Germany since I'm ~2 years old with having "1/4 German blood"?

From the United States. Scottish, German, and English ancestry, but I only ever knew one relative who wasn't from the US, so like Akonyl and Commi, it doesn't really affect my life in any significant way.
