When my grandmother (mother's side) was alive, we had a family dinner there almost every week.

Whenever my dad's family get together for family dinners, it's at Auntie Kirsteen's. I think my mom's family's had one family dinner, and that featured none of my cousins and it was three weeks ago.

Mom's parents was always the norm for family get togethers in general.  I suppose it still is, but since we're rarely invited anymore....

Before Dad retired from the military, I would say either my paternal aunt's house or my maternal Aunt+Grandparents, but now? Definitely my parent's house.
