As for me, current one is the Christmas edition, that was edited by my Secret Santa So yeah, I have no idea who did it, I only know the person who gave it to me, and I know this person doesn't have this good image editing skills, so I'll hopefully get to know who did it in a week

But my actual avatar, is one of the covers of Gosho's releases. When I got it, I didn't know that though But from the moment I got in the Forum, I wanted to get an avatar that I would never change, so I looked extensively for a DC avatar till I found this one. Being Akai my favourite character and just finished watching Clash before joining the Forum, this one was perfect, and so it stayed. After some months I cropped it, because it was too large, and I also later realized it gives the impression that the text says 'Conia'

So, I could say I'm proud of my avatar, and it shall remain my avatar forever \o/

Hm.

Mine is an edit of one of Ai's many expressions (also Christmas edition). I'm pretty sure that someone had a signature that had the anime version of it and I loved the expression so I went sleuthing for the manga version. I mulled over what to do with it in SAI to make it stand out when eventually I made a bunch of binary layers and fiddled around for a seizure inducing combination

I can't say that I'll NEVER change it, but the new one would have to be VERY "OMP I NEEED THAT" for me to do so

The text that's beside it represents my love for nonchalant reactions to abnormal things. Normally it says "Oh my. The color seems to be off". Not only does that tickle my humorous fancy, it also represents why I love Ai so much as a character: she's full of nonchalant humor. Ex: Movie 5: *after future pictures of her and Conan in 10 years fail to come out* *deadpan* "Maybe that means we'll be dead in 10 years."

Well, to start with it my avatar is Squalo \o/ And will always be [s]and sometimes another character in it next to him *nod nod*[/s] Squalo is my favourite character of all time so it's rather obvious he's in my avatar though I started using him as my avatar before that as I was going to draw a picture that looked like him when I didn't know who he was so he could be my RP character Kain but I still haven't found the time to do that
I update my avatar rather often with newer and sometimes older pictures of Squalo so I won't have to have the same one the whole time and get bored of it

Mine comes from Forum Mafia Round 18, which was my first round ever. I was Hakuba and BFFs with Yuriko (who then became one of my best friends since). After I died, we had a graveyard of sorts called the Eisuke Convention in which I tried to blame the KID of that round (I believe was Edo) for dying my hair pink, just for kicks. Dus then edited this picture of Hakuba (it was originally a darker shade of pink but I requested it lighter ) and when I felt nostalgic about that round, I changed it and have left it since. I was thinking of changing the colour to red and green for Christmas but sadly I don't have the skills for that haha.

My current avatar will likely remain the same for a while. I've been searching for this picture online for forever, but I never could find it, so I just had to take it directly from the movie.

The avatar in question (in case I ever do change it), is a picture of Haibara from Movie 9. It's towards the end, right after Conan rides off towards the ship in the speedboat. It depicts Haibara with the sunset behind her. (If anybody can find the picture anywhere online, please send me the link so I can include it in this post).

Well, for those who don't know, Haibara is my favorite character, and that will not change. I like this avatar because, with the sunset behind her, she looks dazzling, and more like an adult. aka: she looks beautiful. That's why I picked it, and why it likely won't change for a while: it's my all time favorite.

My current avatar is from the first half of the Dark Knight storyline of Magic Kaito.

Why did you pick it?

I picked it because I was looking for a good colored image of Kaitou Kid from the Magic Kaito manga.

Do you plan to change it?

Only if the Dark Knight storyline is made into an episode of the Magic Kaito anime or someone makes me a new one.

Most of you noticed this already, but I really am fond of Vermouth. ♥ That's why most of my first doodle on Photoshop was her. Then when I made this, though I wasn't really even intending to make it my avie, I really loved the result that I decided to make it my avatar. After that, I never change it again, and it's been my avatar since then!

And because of that, I probably won't change it again ..though I'll likely change how I colored it someday!

...And oh! I like editing it to suit the occasion as well! also made a Halloween edition, and now a Christmas edition. So it's really not that I would never change it again. The avatar's still the same but it will have a lot of edition coming your way! xD \m/

my avatar's much like my username, it's there for ease of recognition and doesn't have any deeper meaning. I had usernames in the past that meant things, but I would eventually outgrow them/get bored of them so I made one that I wouldn't have to change just because I became bored with the previous thing. So, I made a meaningless avatar as well.

I drew some inspiration from a few things when I drew it, but my avatar isn't "about" those things. :V

It also used to be much more bland when I first joined the forums if anyone remembers, but I'm not gonna bother finding+posting its iterations

I do not like taking other peoples avatars, a forum avatar is what binds most people to a specific member. Just too confusing when someone else comes along and has the same avatar. :x

Aside from the fact that this character is awesome, his facial expression kind of shows my personality a little so it kinda fits for an avatar. :V

~My avatar came from one of the chapter splash pages of Hayate no Gotoku... except, the original was B&W, so I decided to color and edit it. ^^; (And quite conveniently, it is already in Christmas colors. XD)
