I await the day that hover boards become all the rage and suddenly Conan gets a hover board instead of a skateboard.  At the rate that technology and this series is going, that could be a possibility.

As for me I would like cases where the people getting murdered or doing the murdering actually gets decent amounts of characterisation so we would care about them more.  There are only a couple handfuls of people I actually remember from Gosho's cases.  It makes me sad : <

It would be awesome if Gosho adds time changes as the series progresses.  Like graduating ceremonies to show that everyone grew a year older.  People will be all like OMGOMG SERIES GOING TO END SOON and then Ran would graduate and Shinichi would still be stuck as Conan (trololl).  I think it would be spiffy watching everyone doing the growing up bit.  Ah...maybe it's because I'm an old person *sips tea*

I can't remember when was the last time I gave a rap about the murderers or victims; maybe it's just because there's been so many cases that it's feeling formulaic, so instead of seeing them as people you're seeing "that asshole will be the victim, and they'll be suspects A, B and C"....

Always with Conan +
Either Agasa, haibara and DBs. Sometimes Sonoko + Ran or Kogoro also pop up in those cases.
Or Kogoro + Ran and sometimes even Sonoko.
Or Ran + Heiji + Kazuha

But seriously, I think Haibara just talked to Heiji 1 or 2 times. Not even sure if we ever saw Kazuha talking to Haibara or the other DBs.
When KID appears, why can't Heiji also appear? Also not sure if they ever met each other

Or a case where Heiji is stuck with the DBs without Conan XD
Or Ran + Sonoko + Haibara action without Conan/him looking for them or something XD Or Conan being kidnapped and they look for him instead XD
Something new that isn't the stoic group thing

Or the Police or Kogoro being awesome and solving a case on their own. Like Kogoro with his childhood friend in the inn. Or where Takagi figured out that the one culprit wanted to suicide and prevented it.

Also involving past characters into the newer cases again. Like that one detective during the Akemi case XD Or Mitsuhikos or Sonokos Sister. Or Sonokos parents D: So many characters he could pull out again Especially Makoto! D:!

I would give Ai more of a role aside from babysitting Agasa and Mitsuhiko, Genta, and Ayumi.  I personally like it when she and Conan work together, and I mean this strictly in a non-shippy sense.

I would have people react to these deaths in a more realistic fashion, imo.  I'd be scared out of my mind if I'd found a head fall right in front me (case 1 when the three found the head).  I would have more people get on the kids for being at a crime scene, and this includes Ran, Sonoko, etc.

I would definitely have them make more references to past characters, like say...a certain four-eyed boy who had a thing for Ran and tricked Conan into confessing that he was Shinichi. lol

More character interactions, but that kinda goes with what I was saying above about Conan and Ai.  I wouldn't mind it mixed and matched sometimes, as I hate the fact that the professor is always stuck chauffeuring the kids around.

Even though Conan is a seven-year-old boy, I would still include things every once in a while to remind us that he still has the mindset of a 17-year-old boy...like he got a nosebleed when bathing with Ran.

Edit:  Yes, I'd like for Kogoro to solve more cases on his own or the other police officers do so.

I'd also stop trying to hook all the characters up or romantically link them with someone like Gosho seems to trying to be doing.  Kid and Aoko, Heiji and Kazuha, Shinichi and Ran.  The childhood friend thing is so...tired.

Perfect absolutely perfect characters annoy me to no end. I love Ran and I have a love/hate "relationship" with Conan XD, but they need FLAWS. All Conan really has is his lack of voice perfection and Ran there is arguably NOTHING. And if he won't have any flaws, I'd like to see Conan have a fear of spiders or something- like Kaito's fear of fish. (Kaito, at least, is perverted while Heiji is hot-headed. I would really like to see him have a flaw. XD)

Hm, imo, Shinichi is flawed, but given what's happened, he's cooled it a bit. He's always been cocky and arrogant, and even as Conan we've seen it, and it's gotten him into trouble.  I wouldn't mind seeing Shinichi/Conan having an actual fear, though.  That'd be hilarious, especially if Ai gets involved for comedic purposes. lol

Ran...well, she has irrational, yet normal, fears.  She's very superstitious.

Heiji...hmm...yeah, he doesn't seem to have any noticeable flaws, and I guess that's because he hasn't been around much for us to see them.

Yeah, I'd say definitely more story progression. Other than the typical stuff we've been getting for all these years:

Main story plot arc, leads with BO
2-4 episode long case that has no comedy relief/mushy stuff/action
Ran suspicion arc, fails, angry fans shouting at TV/comp
Another 2-4 episode long case
ShinRan episode or two
More time filling cases
Repeat.

Which is, however, the DC I've grown to love for years now. But the cases are just getting...eh. ._.

More plot progression, and no more cases where the person who's gonna die is obvious, and better motives. There's a lot of reusing...

Also, for the anime, some more real murder cases? Like, where people actually die?

My main problem is so many pointless cases. Those were usually pretty boring and weren't worth watching just for the case anyway.

Definitely, the lack of progression in the plot. I mean... 4 years for an arc? C'mon, we are getting old! ENOUGH of fillers!
