
And yes, I think an adaptation should be faithful to the manga (story wise at least, for example I don't care if panty shots are censored), is that bad ? Overall the DC anime is ok, but it still has its share of problems : some important details are forgotten (ask Chekhov, she'll tell you), Conan magically learns Gin and Vodka's names, there's the Akemi's death issue (though they fixed that the way they could), some episodes have an odd adaptation (345), having Akako in the DC anime (not the MK one) is a problem (we discussed that a few weeks ago) etc...
I'll grant you that the 'again' was a bit too much, but the animators/producers did screw up quite a few times, and BTW, knowing what you're doing doesn't mean you can't screw up. :P
Another example in the MK anime this time : the conan cameos. They're obviously intentional, they're pretty harmless (I even found the one in episode 5 quite funny) but it's still screwing up.
